Former officials from the George W. Bush administration have formed a super PAC to support former Vice President Joe Biden’s White House campaign. The super PAC, dubbed 43 Alumni For Biden, referring to the 43rd president, was formed Monday, according to a Tuesday filing with the Federal Election Commission. Karen Kirksey, a former Treasury Department official from the Bush administration, is listed as the group’s treasurer and custodian of records.

Isn't it time for W to come off the sidelines, forgive the nickname for Jeb! and help Trump manage the politics of the moment, the hatred and vitriol aimed at him by, in some cases former members of his administration? Much like 9/11, this is a moment when the Nation must come together. We already know the left will never relent. Where are you, Mr. President?

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spilled to Sirius XM host Howard Stern what former President George W. Bush said to her about President Donald Trump. CNN recapped Clinton’s wide-ranging interview Thursday, showing several highlights during a segment of “New Day.” Clinton spoke with Stern at length about the 2016 campaign and how she felt at Trump’s Inauguration in January of 2017. President Trump announced Friday that he would un-sign the global arms pact known as the Arms Trade Treaty in the latest illustration of his aversion to international pacts and world governance. “We will never allow foreign bureaucrats to trample on your Second Amendment freedom,” Trump said during a speech before the National Rifle Association in Indianapolis. “I’m officially announcing today that the United States will be revoking the effect of America’s signature from this badly misguided treaty.” The origins of the treaty, which sets out international rules for sales and transfers of everything from small arms to large planes and...

Noticeably absent from [Bush’s] list is Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a Republican who is facing a surprisingly robust challenge from Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-El Paso. Cruz once worked for the former commander in chief, both on Bush’s presidential campaign and then in his administration. The senator also met his wife, Heidi, while working for Bush’s campaign, leading him to say that he “will always be grateful” to the former president…

President George W. Bush on Thursday issued a thinly veiled warning about the state of American democracy under the current president, arguing that "bigotry seems emboldened" and politics is "more vulnerable" to conspiracy theories. Speaking at the George W. Bush Institute's "The Spirit of Liberty: At Home, in the World," a national forum in New York City, the former president warned that the trend in Western countries of moving away from democratic confidence and global engagement is seeping into American culture. Parts of Europe, Bush said, have developed an "identity crisis" as a result of economic stagnation, youth unemployment and...

Former President George W. Bush appears to have discovered a new pastime: virtue-signaling. On Thursday, the 43rd president piously delivered a full beat down on President Trump and the populist and economic nationalist movement that elected him. Bush even traveled from Dallas to New York City to deliver it—just to make sure that nobody in Manhattan missed his message, which basically amounted to: I’m a good guy, unlike you-know-who. So look: I just dumped on Donald Trump! Please like me now, finally! Yes, this is the same Bush who kept silent during the Obama years. But now that a Republican...

George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that 'bullying and prejudice' has become a caustic norm in American public life. At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices.

Former President George W. Bush said Thursday that "bigotry seems emboldened" in the modern U.S. He also warned that the U.S. needs to accept "globalization" and reject "white supremacy." He criticized the “governing class” without specifically mentioning President Trump. "Discontent deepened and sharpened partisan conflicts" in recent years, he observed during a speech for the George W. Bush Institute. "Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seem more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication."

George W. Bush heaped praise on Jimmy Kimmel for his anti-Trump opening monologue at the Oscars on Thursday night, telling the comedian enthusiastically that his performance was “damn good”. In a rare and lighthearted television appearance, Bush steered clear of mentioning the current president by name but was led into several subtle jabs at him by his mischievous host. Among the slights was a compliment for Kimmel’s decidedly anti-Trump debut at the Academy Awards. “I saw your opening. I thought it was damn good!” he enthused, adding later that Kimmel was a “funny guy”. […] But Bush didn’t stop there...

A newly released YouGov study aimed at surveying American attitudes towards socialism reveals just how little Americans know about communism and events surrounding the history of communist and socialist regimes. Among the study’s most alarming findings, one in four Americans (26 percent) believe that more people were killed under George W. Bush than under notorious Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin. […] The survey focused largely millennials and found that they are severely lacking in knowledge when it comes to communism and its bloody history. The poll shows 25 percent of millennials have a favorable view of Vladimir Lenin and 42 percent...

A member of the Hillary Clinton campaign praised former President George W. Bush on immigration, according to leaked emails from campaign chairman John Podesta’s account. As the campaign tried to figure out whether to let former President Bill Clinton speak on immigration, his chief of staff Tina Flournoy took a minute to praise Bush. “43 is soooooo good on it,” Flournoy wrote in a March 2015, email. “Really good. At least he has been when I’ve seen him talk about it with 42.” The rest of the email chain is devoted to whether to risk Clinton talking about immigration and...

Democrats now have a faint hope of claiming the seat in 2016, but Coats’ election five years ago dashed constitutional conservatives’ hopes. The Guantanamo Bay detainee who U.S. authorities say is responsible for killing Americans was released during President George W. Bush’s time in office, according to a senior Obama administration official. “Less than five percent of detainees released since January 2009 are confirmed of re-engaging in terrorism and, of those, none are assessed to have killed Americans,” the official told the Washington Examiner. At long last, George W. Bush, the man who left the Republican Party in tatters as he left the White House, has some coattails. His loose lips at a recent fundraiser last week about fellow Texan Ted Cruz have given the GOP presidential hopeful an invaluable shot of gravitas. And that’s saying something considering how Bush’s own brother, Jeb, has been running away from his family legacy by changing his surname to ‘exclamation point.’ But who wouldn’t rather declare punctuation as kin rather than a former claimant to the White House in this populist uprising disguised as an election? Nothing...

After George W. Bush attacked Ted Cruz over the weekend, and Karl Rove followed up with attacks today, Conservative Review’s Editor in Chief Mark Levin dedicated the first hour of his program to going through the ways the Bush establishment (Bushtablishment) has repeatedly squandered conservative victories. Levin went through how the Bushtablishment squandered two historic victories by Ronald Reagan by squishing. Levin explained that by embracing liberal policies the Bushtablishment GOP kept losing elections. Listen in as Levin explains how Bushtablishment governance lead to the Republican Party losing the congressional majority in 2006, which gave the nation the Obama years....
