General Koffi Annan announced this evening that Iraqi foreign minister Tariq Azziz has accepted revised proposals for the return of U.N. weapon inspection teams to verify Iraqi claims that the country no longer has weapons of mass destruction and has no ongoing ability to research or manufacture them.
