A 31-year-old man working for the Virginia Republican party was arrested on Thursday after he was caught throwing out voter registration forms, Richmond, Va., the Rockingham County sheriff's office confirmed to CBS News. The man, Colin Small, faces 13 felony and misdemeanor counts relating to voter fraud, including one count of obstruction of justice, four counts of destruction of voter registration applications and eight counts of disclosure of voter registration applications. Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala today charged seven employees of ACORN (snip) with forgery and election law violations, saying they filed hundreds of fraudulent voter registrations during last year's general election. The charges are part of a continuing investigation of ACORN, (snip) fake voter registrations were filed by hourly employees apparently attempting to meet daily registration quotas in order to be paid. Raleigh | The N.C. State Board of Elections suspended the campaign of state Rep. Thomas Wright on Tuesday because he has failed to file a financial disclosure report due since July 27. Problems stem from people getting in line for there voting cards without signing the registration book.
