His good friend in the CBC, Wm. Jefferson (D-LA), might have some extra cash in his freezer to loan him at a high interest rate.

Well, at least he didn’t get indicted by a Grand Jury, like Tom DeLay! < / sarcasm >

HE did nothing illegal. “Mistakes were made”. His WIFE made a filing error. ‘They’ll pay what they owe’.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Tom DeLay’s case still hasn’t been brought to trial. Wonder if it’ll be like Frist’s and dropped altogether.

The show trials are having their desired effect, running Republican leaders out of Congress.

Another ethical demonstration in the finest tradition of his mentors William "Cool Cash" Jefferson, Judge Alcee Hastings, and John "ImPeach Bush" Conyers. Glad to see the demise of the culture of corruption Nancy.

I am surprised the AJC published this. I would say there is some hope, but the traitors have “101 Georgians Killed in Iraq” as their top headline today. I wanted to buy a copy from the street vender then set it on fire on the sidewalk.

This will never be reported by the MSM. BTW, whassup with the “investigation and prosecution” of New Orleans Congressman, “The Honorable” William Jefferson? Hmmmmm? Is he in jail yet? Uh, no. Will he go to jail? Uh, probably not.

Georgia Congressman Accused of Paying $500G to Family

Someone at fox news must be a graduate of a government school that doesn't teach math or science.

kilo - K = 1,000

mega - M = 1,000,000

giga - G = 1,000,000,000

$500G = $500,000,000,000

Yikes! I know the Dims are corrupt, but this is outrageous!

Guess you haven’t watched any Jimmy Cagney movies of late. ‘G’ is an old gangster term that stands for grand. Now, add 500 to grand and what do you get? For some reason I cannot fathom Cagney popularizing a term associated with the scientific community.

G One Thousand Dollars (common US slang)

Fox is correct, as always. I guess you never watched old gangster movies because that is what the writer was obviously insinuating; that this is gangster like.
