Vanecko and Davis. Their firm made millions in fees even as retirement plans for teachers, cops, other Chicago city workers suffered big losses. A dozen years ago, five financially strapped city of Chicago pension funds invested $68 million in a shaky real estate deal put together by a former boss of resident Barack Obama and a nephew of Mayor Richard M. Daley. It was a high-risk investment. Allison S. Davis — who once headed a small Chicago law firm that gave Obama his first job out of Harvard Law School — and Daley nephew Robert G. Vanecko even warned in...

Earlier today, Michael Cohen’s lawyer Lanny Davis who is also a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch with close ties to Putin was on FoxNews making the case for why Michael Cohen is a martyr in the noble cause of bringing down Trump. Keep in mind this is the same Michael Cohen the left has been claiming made surreptitious visits to the Czech Republic in order to meet with Russian intelligence operatives and help steal the election from Hillary Clinton. This is the same Michael Cohen that absolutely no one believed three or four months ago. But now that he’s implicated...

State investigators have subpoenaed Michael Cohen as part of their criminal probe into his old boss President Trump’s nonprofit Trump Foundation. The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance confirmed the subpoena Wednesday — less than 24 hours after Cohen admitted in court that he paid hush money to two women at Trump’s behest “for the purposes of influencing the election.” The court summons comes after Cohen’s attorney said his client had information that state and federal investigators might find helpful.

Michael Cohen, who was snatched out of obscurity and made famous and wealthy by Donald Trump, pled guilty to five counts of tax evasion and bank fraud and two counts of making excessive campaign contributions. Within the language describing the campaign law violations was the following: …in coordination and at the direction of a candidate for public office. While Donald Trump was not named, there was little doubt that the reference was to the payments made by Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall on Trump’s behalf. Within a matter of minutes, the always vigilant mainstream media began immediately...

Cohen pleaded guilty Tuesday in a Manhattan federal court to violating campaign finance laws during the 2016 campaign, including making hush-money payments to two women who claim they had affairs with the president. Cohen implicated the president in his guilty plea, telling the court that he made those payments "in coordination and at the direction of a candidate for federal office." Asked whether his client would seek a pardon from the president, Cohen's attorney...

Podest email Dump #16 ID 20327 Date 2016-01-01 John, assume I wrote a thousand words about this. It is disquieting that when HRC was secretary of state she spent a good time of time doing gossip emails with Sid Blumenthal about various matters, the ubiquitous Lanny Davis shilling for himself in pathetic ways, and Neera Tanden gossiping about what Soros thinks of Obama. At least Tanden I regard as a serious person. Sid and Lanny I do not by standards of a secretary of state or potential president. I was not in touch with you at the time of the...
