Finger-pointing has erupted over the Kamala Harris campaign blowing up to $20 million on swing-state concerts Monday night, hours before the VP’s spectacular election loss to Donald Trump — prompting concern that everyday staff and vendors won’t get paid amid reports the campaign is in debt by the same amount. Members of the defeated Harris team tell The Post that the concerts had a ruinous effect on the Democratic campaign’s coffers and that fact was no secret — with one planned performance by ’90s alt-rock goddess Alanis Morissette getting scrapped to save money.
The seven swing-state concerts on election eve featured performances by Jon Bon Jovi in Detroit, Christina Aguilera in Las Vegas, Katy Perry in Pittsburgh and Lady Gaga in Philadelphia — with 2 Chainz joining Harris on Nov. 2, three days before the election, for an eighth concert in Atlanta. Two sources said that Obama campaign alum Stephanie Cutter pushed the concert concept as a way to woo lower-propensity voters to the polls.
While the performers donated their time and talent, the sets still required an immense commitment of manpower and financial resources. Cutter’s plan was supported by fellow Obama alum David Plouffe, one source said.

Most performers or talents are approached to donate their services to charity or nonprofit events at some point in their careers. While it might seem like a no-brainer to do some good and give back, there can be hidden challenges in offering your talents at a discounted or free rate.
What did they expect?
Integrity from a democrat?
They had promoted Beyonce doing a concert
but she just read a speech, no show. Did
she refuse to sing after saying she wouldn’t bbe paid, after showing up..or was it a bait and switch with attendees being
disappointed?
They are wedded to Hollywood and the
music industry, figuring such concerts will get huge crowds? Similar to booking big name acts to do Super Bowl halftime show..
funded by big corporations as a big ad.
How much do they owe Beyonce?
Amazingly, the Harris campaign just announced they are 20M in debt. I wonder if those two numbers are related.
The vendors will be, for lack of a better phrase, John Glenn’d!
If they don’t get paid (especially celebrity artists), I hope that under the new Trump Administration, that the Federal Election Commission declares the unpaid amounts as political contributions and disclosure violations, that the IRS doesn’t allow them to take the losses as “write offs to income,” and that those who tried to support Harris; find they are in a government paperwork nightmare.
I was LMFAO when it was announced that Kamala was going to address her supporters and concede the race and someone tweeted, "Is Beyoncé going to perform?"
That’s exactly what she’d have done with our money. Piss it away.
I vote based on how a Canadian has been tells me to vote. Can’t blame her for wanting to perform to more than a dozen fat ladies who remember her album from 35 years ago.
Nothing sums up Democrat policy better than spending a billion dollars, winding up $20 million in debt, and having nothing at all to show for any of it.
They will try to write it off on their taxes.
the sets still required an immense commitment of manpower and financial resources.
I conjecture the money is being diverted to ANTIFA/BLM and the illegals, who will be getting weapons and per diem for riot participation. Cash in hand, of course.
For the rest, the party creditors can pound sand, as after the riots are brought under control, there won’t be any DNC personnel left outside of jail authorized to write a check.
