Approximately 10 minutes into the speech the moderator informs the public not to film. The citizen continues to film, stating it is his First Amendment Right. The camera is smashed into his face. This is clearly seen on the video.

Governor John Kitzhaber recommended across-the-board cuts to solve a budget shortfall he says could reach $450 million. Kitzhaber made the announcement in a press conference in Salem this afternoon. He said the cuts could include the reduction of the school year by three weeks, closing four of the state's five regional juvenile facilites and laying off 100 state troopers, among other things. He said that each day lawmakers delay taking action, they will deepen the impacts of cuts. The governor is also calling for a fifth special session sometime next week. He hasn't said what day the session should start....

Democratic mega donor Tom Steyer financed at least one of the green groups who made payments to former Governor John Kitzhaber's fiancee, Cylvia Hayes while she was an "unofficial" advisor in the governor's office. The payments were made at the same time that the state was evaluating green fuel standards. The Washington Free Beacon is also reporting that several Steyer associates were involved in the scheme.

Oregon’s Democratic Gov. John Kitzhaber will resign this afternoon, multiple sources told Portland’s KOIN. News of the governor’s resignation comes after the governor was accused of using his influence to arrange contracts for his fiance’s green energy company and ordering the deletion of thousands of emails relevant to the scandal.

First she admitted being part of a fraudulent green-card marriage -- now, a new report says Cylvia Hayes, fiancée of Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber, partnered to buy land intended for an illegal marijuana growing operation in 1997.
