President Donald Trump's two-hour speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference was filled with zingers that seem reasonably representative of what we can expect in the 2020 presidential election. "We believe in the American dream, not in the socialist nightmare." And perhaps more boldly, "We have people in Congress that hate our country." Overly hard-hitting? I don't think so. Given where the other side wants to take the country, this is no time for pulling punches. A few days earlier, on the other side of town, Trump's former personal attorney and operative Michael Cohen testified before the House Committee on...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. and Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. got into a sparring match on Twitter on Tuesday over a comment he made about the congresswoman at CPAC last weekend. The heated exchange first erupted after the freshman lawmaker tweeted a video of Falwell speaking about concealed carry permits...(snip) But Falwell fired back at the congresswoman, labeling her “dumb” and “a liar.” “She claims this was @CPAC last week when it was actually in 2015 the day after the deadly CA attacks by radical Muslims (‘those’ Muslims I referenced) She also deleted the last part of my quote...

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York believes that the stream of attacks that GOP lawmakers and the conservative media spew her way stem from her gender. “I am as powerful as a man, and it drives them crazy,” the freshman congresswoman told David Remnick, the editor of The New Yorker, after she emerged as the Republican Party’s bête noire over the course of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference that ended on Saturday. Ocasio-Cortez was responding to comments made by a writer for the feminist news outlet Jezebel, who said women in politics are characterized as either “hideous harpies,” such...

" How long will the America we grew up in remain good and great?" asked conservative commentator Michelle Malkin at CPAC 2019 on Friday. Not that long, in my estimation, if Malkin and some of the attendees at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference set the nation's course. Because referring to conservatives who have supported immigration reforms she opposes, Malkin also said this during her speech: —— Josh Billinson @jbillinson Michelle Malkin points skyward and mocks "the ghost of John McCain" from the main stage at CPAC. Gets a standing ovation from some in the crowd. ——- Ghosts cannot defend...

FULL TITLE: Trump’s 2-hour CPAC speech was marathon of unrehearsed humor and a few salty words. He knocked it way out of the park. President Donald Trump fired up the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference Saturday, hitting topics from the media to Democrats, Robert Mueller’s Russia probe and even his former officials in a raucous speech that lasted about two hours. The president was greeted with cheers and a standing ovation as he hugged the US flag on the CPAC stage, and appeared confident, relaxed and in charge as he addressed the annual gathering of conservatives. After inviting...

Link to an amazing two hour long speech by POTUS at CPAC for those who missed it. He covered every base, including an appearance by Hayden Williams, the young man who "took a punch for all of us!" at a conservative recruitment drive on the Berkley campus. POTUS announced he will be signing a EO which will remove all federal funding from any university which fails to support freedom of speech.

Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, known popularly as "Diamond and Silk," gave an impassioned pro-America, pro-capitalism, and pro-life speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday. Most notably, they attacked the idea of racial reparations for slavery, telling 2020 Democrat Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) that she can't "buy" their "silence." "We have a message for Kamala Harris: You can keep your reparations. You don't get to buy my silence," Hardaway declared. "We will never let the Democratic Party forget that they are the party of Jim Crow. They are the party of slavery."

Conservative icon Michelle Malkin is always worth listening to, and her Friday speech at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference was especially powerful. Controversial, too, thanks to one line in particular. The subject was the top issue of Malkin’s work, illegal immigration, and a stirring call for the Right to fight against the open-borders lobby of both parties. You can watch the full speech below, or read the transcript here. “Congress has repeatedly mandated a nationwide visa entry-exit system to track legal short-term visa holders. But one has yet to be built—even in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks,...

NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland — Conservative powerhouse Michelle Malkin took aim directly from the CPAC main stage Friday, at the lack of immigration focus while delivering fuel for the fight against longstanding abuses of the American immigration system. “The most important issue we face is immigration and we need to be talking about it for more than one panel for 20 minutes,” Malkin charged from the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) stage. “My first CPAC in 2002 was to talk about my very first book Invasion which exposed how border failures and systemic non-enforcement of our visa program rules created the...
