Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, known popularly as "Diamond and Silk," gave an impassioned pro-America, pro-capitalism, and pro-life speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday. Most notably, they attacked the idea of racial reparations for slavery, telling 2020 Democrat Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) that she can't "buy" their "silence."
"We have a message for Kamala Harris: You can keep your reparations. You don't get to buy my silence," Hardaway declared. "We will never let the Democratic Party forget that they are the party of Jim Crow. They are the party of slavery."

I love these bright, gutsy ladies.
We’re already paying “reparations”.
Get back to me when my taxes drop due to the massive restructuring, and 99.9% reduction in social program budgets.
It’s hilarious for Kamala and others to talk about needing to pay more. 100% wouldn’t be enough.
Why should Kamala Harris be saying anything about this when she isn’t even a natural born citizen, whose family was not here until she was born and were still foreign nationals of two different countries?
She can’t give away my money.
My ancestors weren’t even in the country until decades after the Civil War ended.
Shes just a complete douchebag
Well said atc !
MY kinfolk were fresh arrivals from Norway, on farms in Wisconsin. NO COTTON grown there !!!
Black, beautiful and brilliant is a great combination.
it’s kind of amusing that Kamala is trying to push for reparations for a group she tries hard to be part of but isn’t and never will be.
And my kin weren’t fighting to preserve slavery, they were fighting an Army that had invaded their home state.
Guess.
And, what kind ought they to be. Nobody today disagrees that America stepped in it big time when it ensconced chattel slavery. But nobody is living whose parent was a slave, let alone was a slave himself or herself.
The best honor to the people who lived in those dark days would be to recognize the right of people to belong to God over any earthly system of ownership. They didn’t suffer, I hope, so that their suffering would be reprised in future generations.
The secession was stupid, but so was the war. The South doubled down on slavery in a desperate attempt to be self sufficient — it could have pretty easily been starved out over a decade, as a trickle of runaways was turned into a flood. And we wouldn’t have had many of the darksome consequences, pardon the term.
My ancestors came through Ellis Island early in the 20th century. From middle Europe, where the only slaves they had were cabbage heads. I ain’t paying.

“and this democrat congress is acting like they care about democracy
well if you care about democracy you would have accepted
the outcome of this election...(preach it girl)”
Not to worry, DNA tests take a while.
Those who believe that all white folk
owe all black folk something, in the
largest “melting pot” country on the
planet are smoking crack. The most
important thing to remember is they
would have no standing. The
constitution guarantees life, liberty,
and the PURSUIT of happiness. It’s
not handed or owed. One must seek it.
Had Lincoln not called up 75,000 troops to invade the South, those states may not have seceded. Remember, Virginia voted not to secede on April, 4 1861 and only seceded after the call up. Lincoln wanted the war and got it.
