Elections for all 435 U.S. House seats will take place in 2020. Ballotpedia has identified 41 of the 435 House races (9.4%) as battlegrounds. Of the 41 seats, 20 have Democratic incumbents, 20 have Republican incumbents, and one has a Libertarian incumbent. These battleground districts were selected by examining the 2018 winner's margin of victory, the results of the 2016 presidential election in the district, whether the incumbent is seeking re-election, and whether the incumbent is serving his or her first term in Congress. Race ratings from the Cook Political Report, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and Inside Elections with Nathan Gonzales...

We’ve got to support candidates who are running against the super vermin like Nadler. Cathy Bernstein is running against Nadler in the 10th District of NYC. I live in Florida and after watching the young lady describe the 10th District I am sending her a financial contribution. Her description of the New York 10th district is devastating. You should watch her 2 minute video and see for yourself. https://choiceclips.whatfinger.com/2020/09/26/weve-got-to-support-candidates-who-are-running-against-the-super-vermin-like-nadler

Have been told by liberal relative that not many Republican candidates want the President's support this year. She mentioned Susan Collins and Corey Gardner.

The race in New Mexico's second congressional district, one of 2020's most closely watched House toss-ups, is in a dead heat. Democratic Rep. Xochitl Torres Small and Republican businesswoman and former state Rep. Yvette Herrell each received 46% support in a poll conducted by the Tarrance Group for the National Republican Congressional Committee, a summary of which was provided exclusively to the Washington Examiner. Another 8% of voters were undecided. The poll surveyed 400 voters from July 7-9 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9%. There are few polls of the House race. A December internal...

On Wednesday evening, Rep. Xochitl Tores Small’s campaign sent out a fundraising email introducing Emma Caccamo as Torres Small’s new campaign manager. Caccamo previously worked as the campaign manager on Teresa Leger de Fernandez’s race up in the 3rd Congressional District, where Leger de Fernandez won against disgraced ex-CIA operative Valerie Plame, state Rep. Joseph L. Sanchez, District 1 District Attorney Marco Sernce, and a handful of others. Far-left, abortion up-to-birth Rep. Xochitl Torres Small is also another benefactor of EMILY’s List, which has endorsed her for her unashamed abortion up-to-birth policies, previously when she worked for Planned Parenthood, and...

Keep an eye on this one, folks. This is a clear red district once held by a stanch Trump defender who was forced out of office on charges that probably every other member of Congress engages. The GOP candidate has won the special election, but look at all those absentee ballots out there!

House Republican leaders are expressing optimism about their chances to flip the House from Democrats to the GOP in November. Despite the challenges facing the party — challenges that almost all political pros from both parties agree are daunting — there may, indeed, be room for looking on the sunny side of the contest. Most political experts dismiss Republican chances of winning back the House. They point to the 41 seats that flipped in the 2018 midterms, a record number of Republican retirements, and a big cash advantage for Democratic incumbents. But a large number of those seats that flipped during...

Even with all of the lockdown restrictions, voters somehow managed to make it to the polls yesterday for two special elections and the Republican candidates appear to have locked both of them down (if you’ll pardon the phrase). The first one was in Wisconsin and the result wasn’t much of a surprise. In the Seventh District, the race to replace the now-retired Sean Duffy is projected to go to Tom Tiffany. The 7th is a fairly solidly conservative district and Tiffany had garnered the endorsement of President Trump. (Associated Press) Tom Tiffany, a state senator endorsed by President Donald...

Ilhan Omar has a year full of scandals. The Democrats always protected her along with their puppy the mainstream media. Last year, a report claimed that Ilhan Omar and Ahmed Hirsi filed joint tax returns in at least 2014-2015. Yet Ilhan Omar was legally married to another man from 2009-2017. A sitting congresswoman may have filed EIGHT YEARS of fraudulent, felonious, tax returns. The Democrats denied the alleged indiscretions, though the complaints were still unconfirmed to the public at the time. Her short political career is constantly shaken with scandals. Today another scandal broke out. Ilhan Omar asked for donations...

A thread to discuss any President Trump Tweets for today. Or anything related. It's Saturday, a day off for most so he'll probably be Tweeting. There is tremendous CoronaVirus testing capacity in Washington for the Senators returning to Capital Hill on Monday. Likewise the House, which should return but isn’t because of Crazy Nancy P. The 5 minute Abbott Test will be used. Please inform Dr. Brian P. Monahan. @MarkMeadows 9:06 AM · May 2, 2020 Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 96% Approval Rating in the Republican Party. Thank you! House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday she's creating a new House committee to oversee the coronavirus response that will have subpoena power to seek information from the Trump administration. "It would have subpoena power that’s for sure. It's no use having a committee unless you have subpoena power," Pelosi, D-Calif., said Thursday during a teleconference call with reporters. "And we would hope that there would be cooperation because this is not a kind of an investigation of the administration it's about the whole [response]." Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., will chair the House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Crisis. The committee...

Representative Rashida Tlaib unleashed a profanity-laced attack on the National Day of Prayer. The President rightly declared a National Day of Prayer yesterday in the face of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Yet Rep. Tlaib – who just promoted erasing Israel from the map and replacing it with “Palestine” – shockingly responded to a national call to prayer over the Coronavirus by retweeting “[Expletive] a National Day of Prayer.” This isn’t just insensitive, it’s a shocking perversion damaging the very credibility of our government institutions in a time of national crisis. At the ACLJ, we’re not just encouraging prayer, we’re defending...

SANTA FE — A prospective candidate in the race for the 3rd Congressional District seat who was disqualified by the New Mexico Secretary of State’s Office for using the wrong form to collect petition signatures is vowing to contest the decision through legal means. In an inculpatory statement provided to the Journal, the campaign for Republican Anise Golden-Morper accused Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse-Oliver, a Democrat, of playing politics and using “dirty tricks” to eliminate the leading fundraiser among GOP candidates. “Anise is being targeted by a hyper-partisan witch hunt similar to what just happened to President Trump in Washington...

SANTA FE – Alexis Johnson and Harry Montoya, two Republicans who have previously filed paperwork to run for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District seat in the U.S. House, made formal announcements of their candidacies this week. In a news release. Johnson, who lives in Santa Fe and is a graduate of New Mexico Tech, describes herself as a rancher, engineering consultant, social conservative and pro-life mother who was raised in southeastern New Mexico. She said she has worked in environmental engineering as a liaison in the Permian Basin, helping private business and government entities reach solutions to complex technical and...

While Trump has continuously blasted the impeachment inquiry, calling it a “one-sided sham process” and blocking his highest-profile officials from testifying before a Democratic-dominated House, the president has also said he would "love" for his administration officials to testify in the Senate. “It will be fair in the Senate,” he said ahead of the first House impeachment hearing.

With the retirement of 14 term Republican Congressman Peter King, a South Shore Long Island Congressional District opens up for the first time in years. In what was seen as a safe district for Republicans with Peter King, New York's Second Congressional District now becomes a tossup between Republicans and Democrats. Stretching from the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County to the Town of Islip in Suffolk County, Democrats enjoy a slight enrollment advantage in this 70% Suffolk County, 30% Nassau County District. As of mid-November 2019, the district was home to 159,500 Democrats and 149,469 Republicans but add...

A simple stone shall take down the giants” – Kim Clemente The rule of law has gone to hell here in America. We have a sitting US Congressman rejecting even the most basic tenants of a trial by focusing his entire case on hearsay, which is not admissible in court. Make no mistake, an Impeachment is a court case and must be tried under rule of law. But Adam Schiff doesn’t care much about that, he’s too busy trying to hide the antics of deep state. Meanwhile, we have Roger Stone standing trial for several different charges all predicated on...

Cindy McCain said in a recent interview that her late husband, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), would be "disgusted" by the Republican Party's current state. "I think he'd be disgusted with some of the stuff that's going on," she said in a CNN interview that will air Saturday evening. "He'd be railing against what's going on," she added of her husband, who was a frequent critic of President Trump. "I think John provided a lot of cover for other members. And when he would do it, then they could get behind him kind of thing. And I'm not seeing that." Asked...

The average American middle class voter does not care about impeaching President Donald Trump, according to Antjuan Seawright, the former top adviser to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in the key state of South Carolina. "Take off your South Carolina hat and put on one that says Rust Belt," said Judge Andrew Napolitano on the latest edition of his Fox Nation show "Liberty Files." "How does impeachment play there? We're talking in western Pennsylvania, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin -- those states that your former boss lost that she probably should have won and that obviously put Trump over the top in...
