It's magic! No one noticed the hand not moving, The Deception... The Diversion...The Distraction... or the Depredation The Democrats have not been this decimated since 1928. They’ve become hysterical, unhinged, wholly ineffective as a political party, repudiated, recalled, replaced, and marginalized by a nation they had not served. Their media, their propaganda arm, has been discredited. Into this vacuum the Hacking Narratives arrived to explain away the disaster that was the Obama Presidency; to salve the wounds and medicate the collective self-inflicted anxiety experienced by the once-great party’s supporters.

Lena Dunham’s post-election meltdown is showing no signs of letting up in the new year. The woke celebrity continues to express her anguish at the election of “terrifying” “predator” Donald Trump by doing gross, bizarre things and documenting them on social media. Over the weekend, for example, Dunham posted a photo of herself wearing a dog collar on her Instagram account, which currently has almost 3 million followers. In the accompanying caption, Dunham acknowledged that the black studded collar, which features the phrase “I [heart] L D,” was meant for a dog. But that didn’t stop her from wearing it....

Thousands of tech companies descended on Las Vegas for CES 2017 this week to show off what they think you'll buy in the coming year. Although we saw more of what dominated the tech scene last year -- smart home products, wearables and enough Amazon Echo partnerships to make your head spin -- some new products shined brightly above the rest. From an underwater drone to the car of the future, here's a look at what impressed us most.
  • Can 14-year-olds hack email? My 14-year-old sons say, you bet!

Julian Assange told Sean Hannity this week that “a 14-year-old boy” could have hacked John Podesta’s emails. It just so happens I live with two 14-year-old boys, my sons. Both are extremely tech savvy, unlike Dad. So I thought I’d ask their opinion about Assange’s assertion. First, their bona fides. At 10, they created YouTube videos teaching how to use Rainbow Loom, a popular toy for kids that age. They attracted half a million views and earned $450 from Google AdWords. My wife and I tried to get them to do household chores for allowance money. “We have our own...
  • Julian Assange: ‘Who knows’ if WikiLeaks emails swayed U.S. election?

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange claimed in a new interview that he is completely confident that the Russian government was not the source of the hacked emails that his organization released leading up to the U.S. presidential election. He also shrugged off the question of whether the politically damaging emails affected the outcome of the race. The publisher of classified and private information released embarrassing emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, and the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, Fox News political pundit Sean Hannity asked Assange to address the allegation that WikiLeaks was a...

The Wikileaks publication of a raft of embarrassing emails hacked from Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta may have undermined Hillary's chances to be elected president. For his part, Podesta has complained loudly about presumed Russian involvement, claiming that "intelligence sources say only the Russians have the kind of sophisticated techniques required." Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, refuted Podesta's claim saying that "a fourteen-year-old could've hacked Podesta's email account. His password was 'password.' His email could hardly have been less secure." Podesta labeled Assange's assertion "grossly misleading. My password wasn't 'password.' It was 'passw0rd' with a zero. The chance that some...

CrowdStrike, the third-party company relied upon by the FBI to make its assessment about alleged Russian hacking into the Democratic National Committee (DNC), was financed to the tune of $100 million from a funding drive last year led by Google Capital. Google Capital, which now goes by the name of CapitalG, is an arm of Alphabet Inc., Google’s parent company. Eric Schmidt, the chairman of Alphabet, has been a staunch and active supporter of Hillary Clinton and is a longtime donor to the Democratic Party. On Thursday, a senior law enforcement official told CNN that the DNC “rebuffed” the agency’s...

The FBI may have been forced into a misstep when investigating whether Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee -- the agency never directly examined the DNC servers that were breached. Instead, the FBI had to rely on forensic evidence provided by third-party cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, which the DNC hired to mitigate the breach. “The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed,” the agency said on Thursday in a statement....

No One Cared About Hacking until We found Out How Corrupt Liberals Are By S. Noble - January 6, 2017 US major government and military organizations are hacked all the time by endless numbers of foreign and domestic actors. Nothing was done to fix our cybersecurity. But let a privates organization like the DNC get hacked or careless John Podesta’s emails get hacked and all hell breaks loose. John Podesta left his smart phone in a cab, he fell for a phishing incident and his password was ‘passwØrd”. Hillary put our state secrets on a personal server she kept in...

A bill backing key changes in the H1-B programme that allows skilled workers from countries like India to fill high-tech jobs in the US has been re-introduced in the US Congress by two lawmakers who claim that it will help crack down on the work visa abuse. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange made the shocking revelation and said a 14-year-old could have hacked into John Podesta’s computer. Assange also claimed Clinton made “almost no attempt” to secure her private emails Speaking to Fox News, Mr Assange, said: “We published several…emails which show Podesta responding to a phishing email. “Podesta gave out that his password was the word ‘password’. “His own staff said this email that you’ve received, this is totally legitimate. “So this is something….a 14-year-old kids could have hacked Podesta that way.” Mr Assange also claimed Clinton made “almost no attempt” to keep her private emails secure...

Charles Krauthammer reacts to newly-minted Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) remarking "making America great again" requires more than a tweet from President-elect Trump. BRET BAIER: On the Senate side, the top Democrat there, Chuck Schumer, took to the floor for his first speech talking about the president-elect's communication. SENATE MINORITY LEADER CHUCK SCHUMER: These issues are too important for mere words. Our challenge is too entrenched for mere tweeting. Making America great again requires more than 140 characters per issue. With all due respect, America cannot afford a Twitter presidency. BAIER: Charles. CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Sore loser. The tweets are...

Journalist-turned-political gadfly Charles Jaco pulls no punches when it comes to criticizing President-elect Donald Trump. But he will pull a Twitter post every now and then. About 9 a.m. Monday, in response to a Salon magazine article that wondered if Trump could become a "JFK-like president," the former KTVI (Channel 2) reporter wrote: (TWEET-AT-LINK) "Does this mean we can look forward to a November drive through Dallas?" Just when you thought we had left the US election back in 2016, it comes back to haunt us again in the headlines. Remember back during the US election campaign when WikiLeaks released emails relating to Hillary Clinton? Well, if you’ve been watching the news lately you’ll know US President Barack Obama and the FBI have pointed the finger at Russia, saying the Russians tried to interfere with the election result. But there’s one person who is certain that’s no the case, and it’s not Donald Trump. It’s WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Assange has sat down for an interview with...

Rosie O’Donnell made an ominous threat against Donald Trump when she sent out a tweet writing that he’s “MENTALLY UNSTABLE” and urged Americans to “STOP HIM” before it’s too late. “LESS THAN 3 WEEKS TO STOP HIM AMERICA,” Rosie O’Donnell tweeted. O’Donnell added a CNN report to the message having to do with a biographer being “booted off” Trump’s golf course because the president-elect was unhappy with something he wrote about him. Are Apple products not to be transferred? My step daughter gave me her old Iphone. I had no problem getting service for it. I was told Apple does in store classes/tutorials on the product. When I inquired about them I was asked about my Apple code or ID and other like information. This made me wonder if I wold be denied assistance with this product as it was originally registered in her name? Cannon was like this on a printer I could not prove ownership on (who retains purchase info from years ago?). Thanks

There’s no standing allegation by U.S. officials that the Russians (or anyone else) “hacked” into our elections system or altered vote counts. So what are the allegations and facts as we know them? The FBI and DHS released a brief joint report Thursday describing “Russian Malicious Cyber Activity.” It doesn’t include forensic proof of Russian government involvement in hacking efforts, but the administration is rushing a detailed, classified report to be delivered, at President Obama’s request, prior to President Trump taking office January 20. The joint report can be summarized this way: •The U.S. believes two hacking groups tied to...

As new research reveals, right wingers understand far better than liberals how cyberspace can connect like-minded souls Before we finally let go of 2016, it’s worth reflecting on what we learned from it. For me, the most striking lesson was the way it demonstrated how the internet has changed democratic politics. While there is no single, overarching explanation for Donald Trump’s election, his ascendancy would have been unthinkable in a pre-internet age, for two reasons. The first is that much of Trump’s campaign rhetoric would never have got past the editorial “gatekeepers” of an earlier era – the TV network...
