The FBI believes a Virginia man accidentally amputated his own hand while making an explosive device that may have been designed with the aim to kill 'hot cheerleaders'. Cole Carini, 23, of Richlands, arrived at the Clinch Valley Medical Center on June 2 with a missing hand and shrael wounds on his neck and throat. Several fingers on his other hand were also missing. He claimed the injuries were the result of a lawn mowing accident.

TAZEWELL COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) – A Richlands man is charged with lying to federal agents after investigators say he lied about how he was injured and whether or not he was in possession of explosives.According to a release from the Department of Justice, Cole Carini, 23, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of lying to federal agents.
