The following message was posted to the Walter Reed After Action Report of Week 64, July 07,2006: To: PleaDeal I am one of many family members of soldiers who are presently at Walter Reed. We have been there now for six weeks, and with many more to go. After a very hard week of being with my 21 yr. old son who has been deployed to Iraq twice, and came home with stage 4 right renal cell carcinoma, {advanced kidney cancer}, It has been so absolutely refreshing and quite frankly, very helpful in dealing with our pain, to see you...

FReep #64: Pinkos Show How They "Support" the Troops In FREEPERS: The ANTS at SHEEHAN'S "I'LL STARVE TOMORROW" PICNIC at the White House 7/03/06, the "AAR Champion Writer" Albion Wilde described the Sheenanigans of Code Pinko's Last Supper-and-mediawhore-fest. It appears that going without solid food for as much as *gasp!* 24 whole hours!?! put the leftists in a really bad mood. Sheehan already swiped the "Starving for Attention" slogan from the FReep banner, so perhaps Medea and Gael were looking for more ideas to steal and turn into commie propaganda when they strolled up the block and attempted to "reach...

Dear Friends, I was very impressed with your hunger strike protest in front of the White House on July 3. I was especially stirred to learn that a number of you have pledged to take the protest all the way and make the ultimate sacrifice if necessary. I was indeed deeply moved when reading that some, like Diane Wilson, co-founder of the Code Pink: Women for Peace and organizer of the hunger strike, are giving up food entirely until the troops come home. But no reporter could have expressed your resolution more eloquently or powerfully than Ms. Wilson herself when...

Cindy Sheehan, peace mom, mother to the world and a woman who calls terrorists freedom fighters, is not only starving for attention, she's starving for protein (insert tasteless joke here.)Writing in her blog from Venice, Italy, Sheehan bemoans the hardship of trying to maintain the "troops home fast" she started on July 4 in front of the White House while traveling around the world: I find traveling out of the country very challenging being on a fast. When I was on a layover in Madrid on my way to Venice, Italy yesterday, the closest thing I could find to a...

<p>WASHINGTON, DC, July 3, 2006--Although the 60s are long over, about 150 aging hippies and hangers-on relived them again over Independence Day weekend. They offered themselves up as tools of the CodePink-Cindy Sheehan leftism-for-profit machine, this time at the Ghandi statue at 21st and Massachusetts Avenue NW, and later, eating off the street in front of the White House.</p>

The founder of Code Pink was on Hannity and Colmes. Hannity: Do you support calling the troops rapists? Calling our President a lying filthy bastard? Calling our president a furor? Code Pink: I support Cindy Sheehans freedom of.. Hannity: Thats not what I asked you! Yes or No! Do you support what she said! Yes or No! Code Pink: You know there's a lot of people in the peace movement that... Hannity: Answer the question! Do YOU support her comments or not? Yes or no! Code Pink: I'm trying to tell you if you'll shut up for a little bit....

WALNUT CREEK - Local peace groups are upset over California Homeland Security's intelligence-gathering before a March 18 anti-war rally in Walnut Creek. Ivette Maruri, who recently started up a Contra Costa chapter of Code Pink, a women's peace organization, said she could not believe the government would spend taxpayer dollars to monitor her group. "There's a lot of people who want to come to a protest, but they're scared that the government is watching you, so they don't come," Maruri said. "It's just really intimidating to people." The state's March 7 report included a list of 10 "upcoming California protests."...

Desiree Fairooz, of CodePink, a woman-initiated grassroots organization, traveled from Arlington to participate. After reading from a prepared statement, Fairooz lambasted the war, the president and government leaders who she said were in Iraq with the sole intent to steal oil, build an embassy and make the country "America's 52nd state."

previous entry: Thomas Klocek Update current weblog Wednesday, July 05, 2006 CodePink vs. America Age of Hooper was at the Code Pink tantrum outside the White House, and he got this terrific video as a group of kids, taking a tour of Washington DC for July 4th, encountered the Code Pink lunatics—who began singing an anti-American version of “God Bless America” (as “God Help America”) directly at the tour group, deliberately taunting them. It’s a thing of beauty to watch as the “red state” kids spontaneously break into “America the Beautiful,” and completely shut down the moonbats.

The DNC's Associated Press is now using that viciously America-hating groups Code Pink and the Iraq Veterans Against The War as sources for their news photographs: In this photograph provided by Codepink/Iraq Veterans Against the War, a man identified as Iraq war veteran Geoffrey Millard, is lead away by U.S. Park Police police officers after being arrested for attempting to join the Independence Day parade Tuesday, July 4, 2006 in Washington. Millard had walked into the parade with a sign that read: Support the Troops, Bring Them Home Now. (AP photo/Codepink/Iraq Veterans Against the War, Julie Cunigilo) In this photograph...

If you were to ask Diane Wilson, who has done 7 long-term fasts, "What do I need to do to fast?" her response would probably be, "Just Stop Eating!" But if that still leaves you with more questions on fasting, here are some "fast tips". How long am I supposed to fast? We ask anyone who wants to take part in the fast to dedicate at least 24 hours. Any additional days are great. And if you are interested in long-term fasting, we recommend 2 weeks or more. Where should I fast? You can join us in fasting in Washington,...

<p>With the weather cooperating this week and with it being the July 4th. Weekend, MOAB2 was put up in Olney. We wanted to go all out for this special weekend and looks like it was successful. Doctor Raoul was a surprise attendee, along with Cindy_True_Supporter who thought she was going to miss this Saturday. BELOW is what the moonbats saw.</p>

Curse You, Red, White and Blue Baron! Moonbat Mysteries Part II by Wayne Boettcher Posted: 06/30/2006 "Anti-war" activists are not famous for impeccable logic, brainy equations, or just plain common sense. Thus they can often be found engaging in all sorts of activities that an ordinary person might find weird, repulsive or unstable. (Hence their nickname: moonbat.) One shining example of bizarre peacenik behavior is when moonbats pretend to hold "vigils" for troops. What they are actually doing, of course, is protesting our military to damage moral and minimize troop recruitment in wartime. The deception is transparent to most...

On July 4, we will launch an historic hunger strike called TROOPS HOME FAST in Washington, D.C. in front of the White House. While many Americans will be expressing their patriotism via barbeques and fireworks, we'll be fasting in memory of the dead and wounded, and calling for the troops to come home from Iraq. We're inviting people around the world to show their support for this open-ended fast by fasting for at least one day. Please sign up to join us in DC or to support us in your hometown and encourage your friends to do the same!

The moonbats could not take the heat today from Doctor Raoul's bullhorn [BELOW]. While he arrived a little late, but with a bag full of Philly pretzels (in "brown paper bag" just behind bull horn and Lurker Bill in back ground) for our side, he jumped right in with his questions of "Why did the Quakers stand by while Pol Pot murdered millions", "Why don't you become human shields for the Iraqi's who are being killed by terrorists", "Why did you delay shipments of food to the starving Somalians?", ending the above with "You have blood on your hands that...

FReep #61: Summer Arrives at Walter ReedBright sunshine and much warmer temps greeted us this evening. Our usual crowd of FReepers and friends was bolstered again tonight by the Western Conference of College Republicans. The young'uns were enthusiastic, very well informed, and committed to Supporting the Troops and the Mission! Plus, they dress really well! The honor roll of attendance (lurkers marked with *):Albion Wilde, Bill from MD*, BillF, Cindy-True-Supporter, Fraxinus, Gavin*, Jack Deth, Jimmy Valentine's Brother, Landry Fan, maica, PleaDeal, son-of-tgslTakoma, tgslTakoma, and Trooprally [Mr. and Mrs.]. <p>I have uploaded the video I made of this event on Google Video, and you can view it HERE. It's twenty minutes long. For the twelve Freepers and lurkers still using dial-up, here's a recap of the events...</p>
<p>I got word (from an anonymous source) a week ago that Code Pink was going to have another Moonbat parade in DC on Flag Day (June 14th for those of you in Rio Linda), to celebrate the 2500th US military death in Iraq. It didn't matter to Gael Murphy when she announced the parade that the death toll might not be at 2500; she must have been really bummed by Zarqawi's untimely demise on June 7th (HOOAH! and AirPower!) and needed to do something to lift her out of the funk she was in. And a blood dance was just the ticket, apparently.</p>

The moonbats could not take the heat today. And it was only in the mid-80s. The were packed up and GONE by 4:20 today. During the winter months, they had the sun keeping them a little warmer than our group who were in the shadows of some mature pine trees. Being hardened FReepers from the cold nights at Walter Reed, we stayed at our corner until the moonbats were long gone. But now that it is summer, the leaves on the trees on the grassy knoll immediately behind us keep us in the shade while the sun beats down on...
