#KilledByCops is an interactive map that chronicles and visualizes a humanizing, detailed, but far-from-complete perspective on the massive scale of police killings nationwide. And since fewer than 5% of law enforcement agencies in the country currently provide information on police killings, a comprehensive data collection of and a national conversation about police homicides in the United States is desperately needed.

I went down to Al Sharpton March at Freedom Plaza today, which featured the Mothers of Trayvon Martin and Eric Garner with a crowd of mostly out of towners that numbered between 8,000 to 10,000 at the height of it all. The march and rally pretty much ended with around 3pm with Sharpton making a very brief appearance and mostly White Leftwingers hijacking the march afterwards as the out of towners headed for their buses. The signage held up by these Leftists radical included environmental messages, the overthrow of the capitalist system. One sign proclaimed that, "Capitalism was the disease...

United States military and intelligence officials are still piecing together what happened early Saturday that sabotaged an attempt to rescue two hostages from al Qaeda in Yemen. Despite being ready with a roughly 40-man special operations team and days to plan the operation, U.S. photojournalist Luke Somers and South African teacher Pierre Korki both died shortly after the midnight raid. The key problem, officials told the Wall Street Journal, came when some kind of sound alerted militants who were holding the hostages that the special operations team was nearby. The militants were part of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula,...

A federal court has rejected the claims of family members of Anwar al-Aulaqi and his teenage son, who were both slain by U.S. drone strikes. In a 41-page opinion Friday, U.S. District Judge Rosemary Collyer offered some critical words for the Obama administration’s handling of the case while still concluding the relatives couldn’t pursue damage remedies from administration officials. “(Officials) must be trusted and expected to act in accordance with the U.S. Constitution when they intentionally target a U.S. citizen abroad at the direction of the President and with the concurrence of Congress,” Collyer wrote. “They cannot be held personally...

People across the country reacted sharply to the decision by a grand jury not to indict a white Missouri police officer in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager, with protesters taking to the streets in cities from Oakland to New York. St. Louis County prosecutor Bob McCulloch announced the grand jury had chosen not to indict Officer Darren Wilson, who gunned down Michael Brown, 18, on a street in Ferguson on Aug. 9. The grand jury had options from first-degree murder to no charge at all. In New York, protesters held up a poster reading "Black Lives Matter."...

Two “Stop the Violence” organizers allegedly beat one of their colleagues so severely that he vomited blood and was left unconscious in critical condition. Nikole Ardeno and Emanuel Velez, both 30, accused their former roommate of stealing their property, and allegedly punched and kicked him in the street until he had seizures. Arrested moments later, Ardeno was still wearing the same “Stop the Violence” T-shirt she had on the night before when she coordinated a march protesting two recent shootings, Washington Police Chief Chris Luppino said. The victim, Joshua Magraff, also is a community organizer with the anti-violence group, and...

Al Gore was driven (further) insane when he lost to GWB in 2000, going from a man who attacked Bush #41 in 1992 for not removing Saddam Hussein from power, to demonizing Bush #43 for removing Saddam Hussein from power, and smearing his supporters as “digital brownshirts.” Gore, whose political career was reborn in 1989, when he made an about-face from a relatively conservative Democrat in the 1980s to comparing global warming to “An Ecological Kristallnacht” in a New York Times op-ed, sold his Current TV channel to Al Jazeera, owned by the ISIS-funding petro-state Qatar for $500 million at...

As President Barack Obama launches air strikes in Syria, anti-war activists are frustrated that he is getting a pass from groups traditionally opposed to military intervention. According to the Washington Post, only 22 anti-war activists protested near the White House this week, and "it was the latest display of how Obama has neutralized the left." Left-wing activist David Swanson, "who voted for Obama in 2008 before switching to the Green Party," told the Post that "if George W. Bush were launching wars with Congress out of town, oh, it would be flooded." But he said liberals give Obama a pass...

Secretary of State John Kerry didn’t appear before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to lay out an offensive strategy for defeating ISIS. Instead his real mission was a defensive strategy to protect Obama from critics on the right and the left. Obama’s delayed strategy hasn’t won over liberals and conservatives. It certainly hasn’t won over the American people. For the first time, Obama’s counterterrorism policy no longer has the support of a majority of Americans. Americans don’t believe that Obama can keep them safe. They suspect that he’s just trying to protect the last shreds of his fading popularity by...

Anti-war protesters have been demonstrating in Newport, as South Wales prepares to host the Nato summit. Around 1,000 people gathered outside the crown court before they made their way through the city. As well as a strong Welsh contingent, demonstrators came from as far as the US, Belgium, France and Ireland. Police are expecting more demonstrations this week including one on Thursday that may be "something a little more challenging" as protesters try to get to Celtic Manor Resort, which is the focus of the summit. Among those taking part in Saturday's march was veteran CND campaigner Bruce Kent. He...

Democratic leaders rallied behind President Obama’s decision to authorize airstrikes against Islamic terrorists in Iraq, applauding him for imposing limits on military action and vowing not to send U.S. troops back into Iraq. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said early Friday that it was “appropriate that the President authorized airstrikes against [the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria] should they threaten U.S. personnel and other interests in Erbil or elsewhere in Iraq.” “As the President reiterated, there is no American military solution to the situation in Iraq,” she said. “Defeating ISIS will require Iraq’s leaders to see beyond their divisions...

President Obama said Thursday that United States military aircraft had dropped food and water to thousands of Iraqis besieged by Islamic militants on a mountaintop in northern Iraq. Speaking from the State Dining Room at the White House, the president said he had directed the United States military forces to conduct targeted airstrikes on the militants if they moved to take Erbil, threatening the American citizens and military personnel there.

Do I have a problem with the modern feminist movement? Is that a multiple choice question? Before feminism was hijacked by militant activists such as Code Pink, and yes, even the heralded NOW, it was designed to empower, support, and defend the rights of women regardless of their personal lives and attributes. Now, no pun intended, it is a twisted political platform that discriminates against women who don’t adhere to a malformed stereotype of what progressives deem as worthy of their ‘cause’. Today’s feminist cults pick and choose whom they defend, they maliciously incite discord and tarnish lives with imagined...

Top Obama bundler Jodie Evans with Marxist tyrant Hugo Chavez and Barack Obama The Obama State Department this week disavowed its promotion of a Muslim cleric after it was reported by the Washington Free Beacon that the cleric, Sheik Abdallah Bin Bayyah, endorsed a fatwa in 2004 authorizing Muslims to kill U.S. troops in Iraq. At the same time, the Obama administration continues to deal with Obama funder and Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans who helped deliver cash and humanitarian aid to “the other side” in Fallujah in 2004 and made a personal statement in 2005 supporting the killing of...
