Senator Lincoln Chafee says he's pleased that the vote on the U-N ambassador has been delayed. Chafee had been prepared to support John Bolton, President Bush's provocative choice. But later, Chafee said the dynamic had changed and he was glad for the additional time to review the nominee. The decision to delay the vote closed a rancorous session of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in which Republicans first sought to push Bolton through the committee and Democrats resisted.
