Grammy-winning rapper Lil Durk was arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal ambush near Los Angeles’ Beverly Center shopping mall two years ago. The artist — real name Durk Devontay Banks — was taken into custody near Miami and is being held without bail, the Los Angeles Times reports. Prosecutors say Lil Durk ordered the killing of fellow rapper Quando Rondo, with whom Durk and his associates have had a violent, yearslong feud.

Burbank Mayor Konstantine Anthony has withdrawn his endorsement of U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff in the race to replace the late Dianne Feinstein in the U.S. Senate. About 830 a.m., police were called to Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal 7 due to reports of domestic violence on an airplane, according to police Lt. Karla Rodriguez. The plane, which was headed to Houston, had to return to the gate “due to a verbal and physical altercation between a male suspect and a female victim,” Rodriguez said. The suspect, football star Adrian Peterson, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence injury to a spouse, Rodriguez said. Peterson was released on $50,000 bail Sunday afternoon, according to jail records.

The L.A. County Board of Supervisors approved a vaccine mandate for all county employees that went into effect on Oct. 1, and Villanueva has previously said he does not plan to enforce the mandate.
