Google's Gemini AI chatbot became the center of controversy last week when it was discovered that the AI didn't want to create images of white people, couldn't say if Adolf Hitler was worse than Elon Musk, or wouldn't condemn pedophilia. In the wake of these scandals, Google had a bit of a mea culpa.“I know that some of its responses have offended our users and shown bias – to be clear, that’s completely unacceptable, and we got it wrong,” Google CEO Sundar Pichai said. But the truth is, the responses were all by design. We've known of Google's woke ideology and...

Speaking today, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said that there should be an expectation of a slow decline in the US dollar as a reserve currency. Moreover, the statements arrive amidst international de-dollarization efforts employed by a host of countries, including the BRICS economic bloc. Yellen had previously stated her expectation that the US dollar would remain unchallenged as the global reserve currency. However, it appears as though recent developments have shifted her stance on the matter. The global reserve currency status of the US dollar has been a constant headline over the past several months. Indeed, as international trade...

On Sunday, the Food and Drug administration said that it is reviewing reports that the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine can cause heart issues in some adolescents. In a statement given on Sunday, Moderna said the FDA "requires additional time to evaluate recent international analyses of the risk of myocarditis after vaccination."According to the New York Times, Moderna had requested authorization from the FDA back in June for the use of its vaccine in children ages 12 to 17 years, but has yet to receive a ruling on the application.Adolescents would receive the same dosage as adults, 100 micrograms. In July, the European Medicines...
  • Charlie Daniels: Obama Is Leaving America a Much Weaker and More Divided Nation

I will be the first to admit that I have been bitterly disappointed in President Obama's tenure. Some of the disagreements are philosophical in nature: the fact that he believes in a different America than the one I believe in. Obama’s vision is an America with a bigger government, more bureaucratic control and income redistribution, basically European-style socialism, which, in my opinion, is doing damage to the nation that will take decades to repair.

The bipartisan congressional committee tasked with finding at least $1.2 trillion in deficit reduction announced on Monday it cannot reach agreement by the Wednesday deadline, a stark if not unexpected admission that its efforts have ended in failure. "After months of hard work and intense deliberations, we have come to the conclusion today that it will not be possible to make any bipartisan agreement available to the public before the committee’s deadline," the co-chairs, Rep. Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, and Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., said. The declaration came late Monday afternoon in a written statement from the 12-member Joint Select Committee...

Monkeys and atheistsDennis Prager (archive) May 27, 2003 | Print | Send Thomas Huxley ("Darwin's bulldog") is said to have come up with the most famous defense of the atheist belief that life was created by chance, not God. In a debate at Oxford, he is reported to have stated that if enough monkeys randomly pressed typewriter keys for a long enough time, sooner or later Psalm 23 would emerge. Not all atheists use this argument, but it accurately represents the atheist belief that with enough time and enough solar systems, you'll get you, me, and Bach's cello suites. This belief...
