Yes. I’m an adjunct at a community college where we aren’t allowed to work more than 11 credit hours a semester. That works out to 25 hours, maybe it’s 27 hours, a week. We’ve never been allowed to work 30 hours a week. We were advised today that they are reviewing their policies. My husband works at a four-year college where most new hires are Ph.D.s who are given one-year contracts as lecturers. It’s shameful.

She had a puss on her face every time the camera showed her last night during Clinton’s speech, except when he complimented her. I wondered why she was so angry. Something had her riled.

My guess is that the number of Presbyterian warriors struck a sensitive cord with the British, more so perhaps than their being Calvinists. Presbyterians mostly sprang from Scottish soil, didn’t they? The British and Scottish conflict was an old one. It also surfaced in the Battle of King’s Mountain in South Carolina.

He DID report it and it was investigated by campus police. He shouldn’t have gone to the local police with only a hear-say story. He was a great man who was treated shamefully by Penn State.
Santorum IS a nice guy, but don’t underestimate him. He’s a bull dog and engages in any fight with the spunk and intelligence to do it justice. He was my senator for 12 years and I’ve wanted to call him president for much of that time. For my money, he’s the best candidate running.

Oh? In our family, the women are conservative and the men are liberal. And I’ve finally talked my Dem husband into seeing the wisdom of voting Republican. Watch those generalities!

I agree with you. The school should be free to impose clothing restrictions if they want. Students are free to go elsewhere to school if wearing tight clothing is more important to them than the quality of their education and respecting rules, even those with which they disagree.

I’m a strange freeper who has actually liked Beckel. But when I saw him say this on TV, that was the end. I couldn’t believe it and hope to never hear him on radio or TV ever again.
