Obviously...the people who frequent that store have NO idea of the definition of “suffrage.”
Public school, NEA, etc....etc.

No, they don’t know what “suffrage” means. They probably think it means women are suffering in some way, and of course we don’t want women to suffer. So where do we sign up for that?
To: Impala64ssa
Repeal of women's suffrage is actually our only hope.
According to John Lott, ratification of the 19th amendment was the advent of the welfare state.

I would prefer only taxpaying citizens vote. I think the vote should b e weighted. The more taxes paid you get another vote. every 10k in Fed Taxes equals one vote.

That’s an idea I’ve had, too. It would both give people an incentive to pay their taxes, and reduce the incentive to raise other people’s taxes.
Maybe even give people the option to “buy votes” by making voluntary extra payments.

Oh? In our family, the women are conservative and the men are liberal. And I’ve finally talked my Dem husband into seeing the wisdom of voting Republican. Watch those generalities!

“Spelling counts.”
Do you think so? I am a champion speller, but have learned to keep it to myself. Many people are terrible at it and I’ll just cut and paste their remarks without correction as long as it’s not outrageously hard reading. It’s irrelevant to the discussion and correcting others can irritate them needlessly. IMO.
On the other hand, if you wrote “Spelling counts” with an error or two, I just might have to repair it. ;)

“I would prefer only taxpaying citizens vote.”
Would you include all workers in that, even those who end up without a tax liability?
