MIchael Badnarik oganizer of the Rally | 3/26/02 | Michael Badnarik
I have wonderful news!! Yesterday was the first Bill of Rights rally here in Austin. Our featured speaker was Rick Stanley, the hero and patriot from Colorado who allowed himself to be arrested for carrying a loaded weapon so that he could file a lawsuit against the City of Denver. (For more info, please visit http://www.stanley2002.org ) There were approximately 200 people who attended, and <trumpet fanfare> KXAN, Austin's NBC affiliate, was there with a camera. The reporter interviewed Rick on camera for several minutes for tentative broadcast later that evening. A reporter/photographer from <another trumpet fanfare> the...

THE SAGA OF WENTWORTH & SHIELDS RUNNING FOR TEXAS STATE SENATE DISTRICT #25 I attended my local Republican meeting where Sen. Wentworth was speaking and during the Q & A one of our members passed out some talking points and questioned him quite sharply. I thought that Sen. Wentworth answered calmly, rationally and well behaved. Then driving home one day I heard Mr. Sheilds advertizement saying 3 bad things about Wentworth. I called both offices a few days later. SHIELDS: I explained that I heard the ad and I wanted Sheilds proof of when, where and audio, video or ...

The Heart of Texas ( H.O.T.) chapter had a guest speaker last Saturday who was a Precinct Chairman and explained the process. Out of the 12 (very politically active) freepers there, one of them had never heard of the Precinct Convention. I would like say that March 12, (or your voting day) is an oportunity for EVERY SINGLE Freeper to FREEP in their neighborhoods and MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Let me share my letter to the editor, and ask for your help in drafting resolutions to send up to national.

We met at Barnes & Nobles about 7pm and Mr. Begalla was due there from 7:30 to 8:30. I had signs and when I got there I saw a dog with Stars and Stripes necktie. It was 2 lurkers and Tinker. I said that I loved seeing an American flag, showing my husband's tie, which was the only American flag piece of clothing I had with me. He said I must be a Freeper, I said I must be! This freep caught me with out my flags and a new "www.freerepublic.com" sign I made.
• Here is the call to FREEP Daschle & Dems up for election

January 9, 2002 Citizens for a Sound Economy January 8, 2002 The Daschle Power Play by Paul Beckner Surprise! Surprise! Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle believes the only way America can recover from the current recession is to grow government. Understandably, conservatives, Republicans, libertarians (and some Democrats) are angry and frustrated with Mr. Daschle. Since the Daschle "economic" speech last week, we've seen a flurry of very good commentary laying out in great detail the substantive case against Daschle's policy prescriptions. Guess what? Tom Daschle doesn't respond to conservative commentary. Tom Daschle responds to power and power alone. Let ...

Lately I have been recieving letters with Days Inn's logo at the top offering me a Dental plan and a check for $2.50 in reading the fine print, they say that if I accept the plan they will charge my credit card account that was used at the Days Inn that I stayed at. Well this started me on a quest to find out who had my number and where it was and how to get it taken out of their data base. I called the Days Inn reservations, got the Guest Services and the Presidential numbers and have had ...
• What else are they hiding while talking about

So I have been following the CA Congressman Conduit (a conservative) but all the time that the stories are being done of him... then you know there is some bigger stories that aren't being covered. This is so typical Clintonese ... make the people think it is about sex, .... downplay the lying and obstruction of Justice and then LOTS of stories aren't being covered.. They are the ones that can effect my life more than who Conduit is sleeping with. I'm bored with the Conduit story until there is a body found, his arrest or his resignation..OR FREEPERS activity ...
• Hillary Watch "Share these Experiences?"

Human Events week of 5/21/01 | 5/21/01 | unknown
Mrs. Clinton made her first commencement address as a US senator, speaking to 800 State University of NY College of Technology graduates in Delhi, N.Y. Bill Cosby and Habitat for Humanity founder Millard Fuller also spoke at the graduation ceremony, but Hillary was the only one to receive a standing ovation before and after her speech. Enthusiasm over her appearance at the SUNY school was not unanimous, however, as two protesters, one wearing a striped prison-style outfit, stood at the entrace of the school holding signs protraying Hillary as the new Nixon. Hillary told the graduating students that "My journey ...

my report
I was at a pro gun/pro-Constitution rally 4/22/01 that is gearing up to combat the MMM march on mothers day. Here is my view of the day. FLAGS - There were at least 7 COME AND TAKE IT flags, several of the NEW COME AND TAKE IT with an AR-14 rifle instead of the cannon, (we bought one from David at www.ComeAndTakeIt.com) American flags present and all sorts of past ones, Texas flags and my usual Marine one. The wind was heavy and blew them out, flapping wildly---sometimes almost blowing us away----it was gorgeous.

A few freepers were amoung the 100 or so people who crowded in to see Ann Coulter speak at the UT Law School put on by the Federalist Society. They had soft drinks and lunch provided by Jason's Deli. (it was good too) Ann spoke about how important it is for the justices on the Supreme Court to use the Constitution and not hallucinate things that aren't in there She metioned many cases that we won but only by a 5-4 vote. If President Bush makes a mistake and upsets the vote of the court it could be devistating ...

Gov mansion 2pm-5:30. When I got to the Mansion, there were about 5 Bush supporters. That ebbed and flowed to about 15. Most of us had been there yesterday. Some one brought 3 kids who I thought that I heard saying they were embarassed that their parents took their pictures with signs. Then they stayed a long time, seems that they had driven from Pasadena just to do this. They spred out on the other corner and we very enthusiastic. There was an elder lady very versed in what has happened the last 8 years and she had never protested ...
