THE SAGA OF WENTWORTH &amp; SHIELDS RUNNING FOR TEXAS STATE SENATE DISTRICT&nbsp; #25 I attended my local Republican meeting where Sen. Wentworth was speaking and during the Q &amp; A one of our members passed out some talking points and questioned him quite sharply.&nbsp; I thought that Sen. The Heart of Texas ( H.O.T.) chapter had a guest speaker last Saturday who was a Precinct Chairman and explained the process. Out of the 12 (very politically active) freepers there, one of them had never heard of the Precinct Convention. I would like say that March 12, (or your voting day) is an oportunity for EVERY SINGLE Freeper to FREEP in their neighborhoods and MAKE A DIFFERENCE. We met at Barnes & Nobles about 7pm and Mr. Begalla was due there from 7:30 to 8:30. I had signs and when I got there I saw a dog with Stars and Stripes necktie. It was 2 lurkers and Tinker. I said that I loved seeing an American flag, showing my husband's tie, which was the only American flag piece of clothing I had with me. He said I must be a Freeper, I said I must be! This freep caught me with out my flags and a new "www.freerepublic.com" sign I made.

Dear Austin Friends This weekend is the time for Veterans day parades. Show your support for the men and women who have defended our country by attending a parade. Sat. Nov. 10th is the 226th birthday of the Marines. San Marcos, TX is having a parade at the SM airport at 10am. Take Hwy 80/21 off I-35 and stay on 21 when it turns to the left. Lately I have been recieving letters with Days Inn's logo at the top offering me a Dental plan and a check for $2.50 in reading the fine print, they say that if I accept the plan they will charge my credit card account that was used at the Days Inn that I stayed at. Well this started me on a quest to find out who had my number and where it was and how to get it taken out of their data base. So I have been following the CA Congressman Conduit (a conservative) but all the time that the stories are being done of him... then you know there is some bigger stories that aren't being covered. This is so typical Clintonese ... make the people think it is about sex, .... downplay the lying and obstruction of Justice and then LOTS of stories aren't being covered.. They are the ones that can effect my life more than who Conduit is sleeping with. I was at a pro gun/pro-Constitution rally 4/22/01 that is gearing up to combat the MMM march on mothers day. Here is my view of the day. FLAGS - There were at least 7 COME AND TAKE IT flags, several of the NEW COME AND TAKE IT with an AR-14 rifle instead of the cannon, (we bought one from David at www.ComeAndTakeIt.com) American flags present and all sorts of past ones, Texas flags and my usual Marine one. The wind was heavy and blew them out, flapping wildly---sometimes almost blowing us away----it was gorgeous.

A few freepers were amoung the 100 or so people who crowded in to see Ann Coulter speak at the UT Law School put on by the Federalist Society. They had soft drinks and lunch provided by Jason's Deli. (it was good too) Ann spoke about how important it is for the justices on the Supreme Court to use the Constitution and not hallucinate things that aren't in there She metioned many cases that we won but only by a 5-4 vote. If President Bush makes a mistake and upsets the vote of the court it could be devistating ...

Gov mansion 2pm-5:30. When I got to the Mansion, there were about 5 Bush supporters. That ebbed and flowed to about 15. Most of us had been there yesterday. Some one brought 3 kids who I thought that I heard saying they were embarassed that their parents took their pictures with signs. Then they stayed a long time, seems that they had driven from Pasadena just to do this. They spred out on the other corner and we very enthusiastic.
