I have been absolutely furious since seeing Vanishing Freedoms last weekend and racking my brain on what we can do to make our voices heard and show support for those whose very livelihood is threatened by the enviro-wackos.

I am engaged in a huge debate with a gun grabbing liberal friend (kinda sorta!) of mine. Topic of discussion are Texas Gun Shows where, thus far, there is no law regarding background checks. He says convicted felons and other criminals go to these gun shows and buy weapons. I say that convicted felons and other criminals probably don't buy their weapons at gun shows. Of course, I don't know this for sure! Does anyone know of any kind of research or statictics on whether "criminals" buy their guns at gun shows where no background checks are required. Any help ...

Several people I know have been stricken with various viruses that have completely "killed" their computers. A friend of mine did some research and came up with a list of viruses going around and I wanted to post it here for everybody. I am apparently too stupid (might need to more to Florida!) to use the search - and probably did this post wrong too! I am trying to pull up some threads on 2nd Amendment issues to use as ammo in an ongoing debate with a liberal I graduated high school with. In the search box, I typed in Second Amendment, gun rights, gun grabbers, self defense, government tyranny and the search came up empty. Just heard on Fox that Jesse Jackson is in jail in Oklahoma City. Arrested while protesting an execution. Didn't get all the details - that's all I heard. I guess it would be too much to hope that he would still be in jail on the 20th!!! Sorry if this has already been posted! Didn't find anything on the search.

I am trying to "educate" a Demo friend about the Fiasco in Florida and need the name of the 1887 (1881?) case used in the court battle that says the rules can't be changed during the process. I notice that below the article title it says how many replies have been posted. I have read several articles that say there is X number of replies, but not all of them come up. The whole Freeper page loads - but not all the replies are there. Where are they? It's driving me crazy cause some of these things I have been really interested it and it *)$%&*( me off when I get to the bottom and only 110 replies are there when it says there have been 130 replies! Somebody please help this dumb Texan!!

As a Christian who believes that God is in control of EVERYTHING 24/7 and knowing that Scripture says that He sets up kings and brings down kings (a paraphrase, of course) it is my strong opinion that God has had enough abortion, homosexuality, lack of responsibility, etc. and that He is getting ready to raise up a "king" to lead this nation as it should be led. Of course, our prayers sure won't hurt!!

I HATE this place!! Before I found FR, I got my house clean, worked in the yard, did all my chores, etc - it's 5:35 PM and I haven't done a stinkin' thing today! Ya'll are a BAD influence!! LOL!!

Heard on my local talk radio station that Alex Baldwin said he will leave the country if GW wins the election. Kam said, of course she would have to leave if Alex did. Gee, could we be THAT lucky??
