Your post is spot on: The only individuals who did not see this coming are Biden and the “gifted talent” supporting him or, really, running his administration. But keep it to OMG: God is not “effing” and God doesn’t eff around.
He’s God, not “Gawd”. And waiting on God is faith in Him and His promise - something you, unfortunately, do not have nor see right now but I hope that changes for you.
The author’s request to pray was not in reference to the virus itself but, instead, this new normal of complacency that has swept our nation as a result of everything that has happened with this virus. We need to pray to God that He enables people to see this new normal of complacency in themselves and wake up from it. This “insight and wake up” in each individual is something only God can do. On the other hand, if your question is still why would God allow this viral pandemic to occur in the first place, I believe you will find John MacArthur’s YouTube video titled “Why Does God Allow So Much Suffering And Evil?” very informative. I thought it was very instructive and very good and, to me, John interjected just the right amount of humor into it to liven it up. It’s a long video (one hour and five minutes) but it’s well worth the watch. I hope it helps!
Yes, our side needs the votes but this prayer is not a buncha kink - its a very good prayer ... one that needs to be prayed not just for this election but even after the election ... continually ... for our country ... for our society ... for our people. As one Freeper already pointed-out: Dont underestimate the power of prayer. Ill add: Dont underestimate the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pray, my friend, and pray often.
Yes, definitely, clickbait with nothing to go on but cmon, man, dont abuse Gods name like that. If its as bad as these reporters are leading us to believe, He had nothing to do with it.

God isnt a tyrant - He is very kind, caring, patient, and loves to bless people! I think the part of the modern Hippocratic Oath you refer to is the sentence, Above all, I must not play at God, in reference to a physician having the power to take a life and the responsibility of the physician to face it with great humbleness and awareness of his or her own frailty. Honestly, the at in this sentence in the Oath throws me (its probably inserted for secular purposes) and I prefer this sentence as, Above all, I must not play God.
