WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican political operatives are recruiting “pro-Trump” doctors to go on television to prescribe reviving the U.S. economy as quickly as possible, without waiting to meet safety benchmarks proposed by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to slow the spread of the new coronavirus.
The plan was discussed in a May 11 conference call with a senior staffer for the Trump reelection campaign organized by CNP Action, an affiliate of the GOP-aligned Council for National Policy. A leaked recording of the hour-long call was provided to The Associated Press by the Center for Media and Democracy, a progressive watchdog group.

Slowing the spread is not reducing the spread. Slowing the spread by keeping the economy clamped down promotes and directly causes the rise of other social, political and economic pathogens that are lethal to the economy and a number of individuals that will grow to dwarf the lethality of the Chinese flu were that malady left unchecked.
Seems that there are two ways to read your comment:
1. Disgust that Trump and GOP would recruit doctors to their “side.” Or...
2. That AP is calling out “Republican operatives” and calling them the pejorative “Trump doctors.” Like “Trump pills.”
This is actually a big scoop. Who is the leaker?
And the oath says, in part, to not “act as God.” in other words, I believe, to not act as a tyrant.
Trump waits for everything from the CDC: Associated Progressives say Trump has no plan, moving too slowly.
Trump comes up with a plan: Associated Progressives say Trump not waiting for the CDC, going too fast.
Whatever Trump does, the AP will write an article against it.
Yeah, so which is it?
He thinks Trump is just doing things that are pro Trump, not according to the facts. That is your reaction, too?
