My first take was he was taking AP to task for politicizing Trump’s efforts to recruit medical science to his “side.”
But I’m not actually sure what Noble wa driving at.
I like that Trump is doing this. The leftists always deride him and us for “not being scientific.” Now that he is doing that, they will deride him for introducing g politics to science. As if their recruitment of “scientists” (and big payoff to same) to their side of the global warming “debate” was neutral and not politically charged.
