My first visits were in 2001. As I said, I saw virtually no one dressed in burkas. It steadily increased over the years. My last visit was in 2023. I saw one bridal part group of about 10 German girls. Other than that, only a handful of German women. Or ANY women not dressed in the disgusting all black robes with full veils.
My son graduated from UK in 2011. I remember being appalled by the student/ parent orientation program we had to sit through. Basically, they said…. If ANY girl accuses a boy of improper sexual advances, the boy would be immediately suspended. We seriously thought about looking at different school.
My son’s business classes were 65% female. I told him it was his moral duty to have 2 girlfriends. If not, some girl would have to do without.
So, Iran claims 15 of the 17 missiles they launched hit their target? All the drones and rockets were fired to distract and overwhelmthe air defense systems. I wonder how true their account is?
Bibi has had a rough go at times. But, this is a moment of clarity. He is clearly up to the task. Very well said. History will remember this war as a turning point.
Sorry I couldn’t respond... I was at the track on the 1st turn... Interent connections were weak.
I liked Fierceness and Catching Freedom. But, an hour before the race, I learned that Fierceness had problems with his hoofs and shoes. His trainer, Todd Pletcher, flew an expert in from LA to repair the hoofs... but, it didn’t hold up. Fierceness was in PERFECT position to win, but...he had to pull up.
That said, this Derby was wide open. There were 7 horses that I had a $10 Win ticket on, because the odds were so high (>30-1) that I would break even. One more horse, Mystic Dan, was 18-1.. so, I put a $20 win ticket on him.
I also bet a $3 EXActa box on Dan, Forever Young, and Just a Touch.... Forever Young was literally 6” away from placing 2nd. That cost me ~ $500.. But, I was OK. I was close to even after the day of betting. And, I won $400 on the Derby.. I went home with MORE money than I took. Even after paying $22 for drinks all day. It was a GREAT day at Churchill.
