Paxton has kicked the dimcraps asses numerous times with his lawsuits for MAGA agenda. At confirmation the dimcraps would hate on him worse than Hegseth, Bondi, Patel, etc. Gov. Abbott diplomatically stated that Texans should decide who their senator would be without directly criticizing the pompous Trump comments. Hopefully, Paxton stays in, gets the endorsement of Hunt and becomes the next Texas US senator.

Like others have said on here, the NRA has become irrelevant. The Second Amendment Foundation is by far the best representative of 2nd amendment rights via multiple lawsuits. That being said, the rioters failure to follow state concealed carry requirement notwithstanding, I have not seen evidence of him drawing his weapon or regardless, the necessity to allegedly shoot him 10 times. Yes DeSantis clearly won against the worn out DeSantis Lies.com. Even though it was on CNN, most questions/follow-ups seemed reasonable except Crapper’s comment that scientist say floods are causing climate change. DeSantis was polished, professional, and well prepared and wasn’t daunted by the Haley desperation cheap shots. He is the best candidate the GOP can put forward.

As for what brought on the attack against CA, I could cite numerous actions by the state that are against nearly everything conservatives stand for but there is no room to do that here but Brown, Feinstein, Becerra, Harris, Berkeley would be good starting points. Your original post did not clearly differentiate between defending CA in general and its govt.

I was in Fresno in 2000 at the rally with Jim supporting Bush against the hanging chad BS. The state govt was f/u then but just worse now. I had the chance to return home then and did. I do sympathize with those of you that are not able to move out or to change your government. But, to be sure, the rest of us have every right to condemn them.
