Completely agree. We approach reading with the attitude that all kids can learn to read well, but for some reason with math we just throw up our hands and say “they’re just not a math person”.
This is just the start. I have high school and middle school kids and they’re fed up with the social BS and anti Americanism. That’s saying something considering we are in NTX and only exposed to 10% of what kids elsewhere see.
It was until half of California moved here over the past five years. So far it sounds like Stonebriar is just a rumor but folks are unsettled to say the least.
You’ve apparently never been to the North Dallas suburbs, and especially those Outlets, if you think someone targeted that place because there would be an overwhelming amount of white people.

I’m 100% with you on this one. I saw 15% of our workforce laid off on an annual basis from 2015-2019 in the oil industry and no one gave 2 sh1ts about it.
No kidding. I get it, ‘most’ people in a suburban/urban area drive around town 90% of the time . . . but almost all people also have a 70+ mile drive at least a couple times a year. In terms of round trip, a 35 miles is a laughably short distance.
I must admit, I also struggle with the advice in case of a tornado to leave your vehicle and lie down in a low spot during rain. I’m going to GTFO which seems like a much better option.

I’m surprised at the mental gymnastics people are going through to make this out to be a good thing. What’s best for ANY oil producer is stability. If this was “BETTER” for Russia, they would have been doing it all along. If folks are saying that this seriously lessens the impact the sanctions have on Russia, I get that, but some people that act like Russia is coming out ahead on this. That’s insane when you factor in all the other economic collateral they’re dealing with.
Yea, Buffalo probably has 3x the number of deicing trucks and plows that the entire DFW metroplex has. We get a little bit of revenge in the summer, when a 90 degree heatwave rolls through your neck of the woods. Weather will get you either way.

Agreed. When they respond with “uh huh” that’s a whole different story, especially when I’m paying for a service and expressing gratitude at the same time.
