I spoke too soon. I read last week they weren't. I just heard Jim Rome state that schedule would also be considered less in the BCS next year because of teams like Utah being in lesser conferences and major conferences like the PAC being weaker.
Thus far the BCS has stated that they plan to make no changes for next season. They think the BCS is working fine.
As far as consensus #1 & #2 it is only because that's where they were ranked preseason and did not lose.
`There are two national championship games,'' Tuberville insisted. ``There's one here at the Sugar Bowl, and there's another one at the Orange Bowl.''
I can understand that sounds self promoting, but in the bragging rights department when it comes to recruiting, especially in the SEC, that can carry some weight.
And lastly, yes I am biased since I'm an Auburn grad. It's been too many years since we've even been this close and to run the table in the SEC and not even get an opportunity is a 1st with an SEC team.
And let us not forget that it was in the Soviet Union that the city name of St. Petersburg was changed to Leningrad, if I remember correctly.
Actually they changed the name from St. Petersburg to Petrograd during WWI because of it's German origin, then to Leningrad by Stalin and then back to St. Petersburg (if I remember correctly).

Hans Blix did not inform the Security Council about the remotely piloted vehicle in his oral presentation to Foreign Ministers and tried to bury it in a 173-page single-spaced report distributed later in the day.
And the charade continues. I'm convinced Blix will say and do whatever it takes to prevent war including lie.
