The Supreme Court may very well take up a case that would prevent Democrat judges from invalidating Republican state legislators who dominate state houses from redrawing congressional districts. It takes four justices of the Supreme Court to agree for a case to be heard by the entire Court; Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh have said they are willing to hear the case. “Activist judges and allied plaintiffs have proved time and time again that they believe state courts have the ultimate say over congressional maps, no matter what the U.S. Constitution says,” North Carolina Senate leader...

Two more top Iranian officials have been killed this week in separate mysterious incidents, just days after a top Iranian commander was gunned down outside his home and an Iranian drone manufacturing site came under attack by suicide drones. Colonel Ali Esmailzadeh of the Revolutionary Guards’ elite Quds Force reportedly died during an incident at his residence in the city of Karaj. Iranian media said that he died after falling from his roof. Opponents of the Islamic Republic, however, claimed that Esmailzadeh was killed by the state because they suspected him of being a spy involved in the death of...

I was running a YouTube channel called "Professor 219" throughout 2021. This was 100% me, sitting at my desk at home, ranting into a webcam much like Dan Bongino, Ben Shapiro or Michael Knowles, regarding the stupidity, hypocrisy, corruption and generally unconstitutional behavior of the left, their political party and the media minions who serve them. I do teach in real life, but I'm not a professor. I teach gifted 13- and 14-year-olds for a Catholic diocese in an after-school enrichment program. I'm 62 years old, and I have a pretty strong amount of knowledge regarding a lot of different...

I produced two videos, then took a little break because work, weather and family required it. Now I'm internally debating whether to make more. Let me know what you think, Freepers. If you like my videos, please give them a "thumbs up" on YouTube and subscribe to my channel. Also, please share them with your conservative Facebook friends. I plan to cover lots of information that the left-wing propaganda bureaus once known as "news media" will never mention. For example: solar panels, wind turbines and high capacity lithium batteries are all ticking environmental time bombs.

The emergence of the Journolist listserv at The Daily Caller has created quite a stir on the Internet, but among mainstream media journalists, the silence is deafening. The listserv creates the impression that the entire profession of journalism protected presidential candidate Barack Obama in the spring of 2008, when controversy over his attendance at the church of Jeremiah Wright reached its zenith, and ever since.

As federal prosecutors rested their case at 5:00 PM Tuesday in the corruption trial of impeached Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, it appeared that in the days following the 2008 election, President-elect Barack Obama had been drawn closer than ever to making a deal with Blagojevich regarding his Senate seat. But it also became clear that in reporting contacts with Blagojevich to federal authorities, Obama concealed a phone call and a face-to-face meeting between Blagojevich and one of Obama's spokesmen. Blagojevich is on trial for seeking personal compensation -- either money, or employment for himself (such as a Cabinet appointment) --...

This is an open letter to those who refused to go out and vote for a RINO on Election Day 2008. You have just given us ObamaCare, which (if it is not stopped) will bankrupt America. The final House vote tally was 219-211. All of the Republicans in the House of Representatives ― all of them, every last one of them, including all of the RINOs ― voted against this bill. In the Senate, John McCain (another RINO you refused to support in droves) is one of ObamaCare's most vigorous opponents. And all of the Republicans in the Senate ―...

Our online activists have been very, very busy. Using Facebook, Twitter, e-mail and cell phones, we've been directing hundreds of thousands of dollars into the Doug Hoffman and Chris Christie campaigns. We've been calling voters, urging them to vote for conservative candidates. Personally, I've been e-mailing a few acquaintances of mine in the Dede Scozzafava campaign, asking them to convince Scozzafava to drop out of the race. We work behind the scenes, and under the radar. Quietly and effectively, we've been directing support to the conservative candidates in these races. A few months ago, we were working on behalf of...

I'm sure you've heard of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). But what you probably haven't heard is that a lot of its workers have been getting indicted and pleading guilty on felony charges related to fraudulent voter registrations. Voter registration fraud is the usual charge, and it's a felony. Others have been charged with perjury, forgery and identity theft in relation to these fraudulent voter registration cards. Twenty-six workers have been charged or convicted, almost all on felony charges. Thousands and thousands of fraudulent voter registrations have been identified, and there may be thousands more. What's...

When one party controls both houses of Congress, there is an "R" or a "D" in the right-hand column. Where each party controls one house of Congress, there is a "N*" in the right-hand column. "Note that for each year of the budget, control of Congress was listed from the previous year -- because, for example, it was the 1994 Congress that passed the laws for both taxation and spending that created the 1995 budget, and the 1995 deficit." The Daley political machine in Chicago has thrown its support behind presidential candidate Barack Obama, forging an alliance that could make him the next president. Although the machine supported Obama's rivals early in his political career, viewing him as an outsider, Obama's success on the national stage has changed all that. “It’s a simple political calculus,” Jay Stewart, executive director of the Chicago-based watchdog group Better Government Association, tells NewsMax. “Here is a popular guy with a reasonable shot at winning, from the same party. It's good for Illinois if he wins. So the machine [and] the mayor [are] backing...

Obama's Church: Cauldron of Division Presidential candidate Barack Obama preaches on the campaign trail that America needs a new consensus based on faith and bipartisanship, yet he continues to attend a controversial Chicago church whose pastor routinely refers to "white arrogance" and "the United States of Whiter America." In fact, Obama was in attendance at the church when these statements were made on July 22. Obama has spoken and written of his special relationship with that pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. The connection between the two goes back to Obama's days as a young community organizer in Chicago's...

Wikipedia is a wildly popular online encyclopedia that anyone can edit – and in some cases, sabotage with misinformation and libelous or politically slanted content. Its co-founder, Jimmy Wales, has explicitly stated that he doesn't make any distinction between the contributions of an Ivy League professor and a bright 16-year-old, as long as the 16-year-old is doing good work. Whenever a student in the English-speaking world hears the name of an American politician for the first time, he or she is likely to run a Google search on the name. The first, second or third Internet page produced by such...

By PETE YOST, Associated Press Writer 18 minutes ago WASHINGTON - A federal appeals court put the Bush administration's military commissions for terrorist suspects back on track Friday, saying a detainee at the Guantanamo Bay prison who once was Osama bin-Laden's driver can stand trial. A three-judge panel ruled 3-0 against Salim Ahmed Hamdan, whose case was halted by a federal judge on grounds that commission procedures were unlawful. "Congress authorized the military commission that will try Hamdan," said the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. The protections of the 1949 Geneva Convention do not apply...

Maybe next time the Democrats will field a candidate who can win By Barbara Amiel (Filed: 12/01/2004) There are a couple of eternal verities in American politics. First, every now and then, the Democrats will go utterly mad and nominate a candidate who cannot win. This crise de folie may have begun with the election of 1864. Republican President Abraham Lincoln had just about won the Civil War. The Republicans nominated General George B. McClellan, a Union officer fired by Lincoln in 1862 for incompetence, who ran on an anti-war platform. Closer to our times, that would be rather like...

A man has been arrested following a break-in at an Internet cafe in Peoria, Illinois that has served as an informal gathering place for local Young Republicans and the Central Illinois chapter of Free Republic. The suspect, believed to be the same person who has repeatedly posted virulent hate speech against Republicans and Freepers under the screen name "Jerry Mitchell" at http://webx.ibelong.com was arrested on several charges, including: Residential burglary (Class I Felony, punishable by six to 30 years in prison) Unlawful use of weapons (concealed 9mm found in car) Possession of cannabis (also found in "Mitchell's" car) Criminal damage ...

I have been lurking for several months at Free Republic and at several liberal sites that I collectively describe as "left-wing hate sites." The right-wing hate sites have Nazis, Neo-Nazis, skinheads and militia groups. The left-wing hate sites have socialists, anarchists and radical Democrats -- and it's hard to tell them apart. The left-wing hate sites each have about eight or ten regular members who talk to each other, reinforcing each other's absolute hatred of Bush and the Republicans. They also have a few other people who wander in and out. Anyone visiting who has an opinion anywhere to the ...

I have been lurking for a long time at both Free Republic and the discussion website run by the DNC, http://webx.ibelong.com. The handful of Democrats who post there are really, truly the worst of the worst. You won't find any more poisonous, bitter venom against the Bush family, Republicans in Congress, or the Free Republic. Salon, Buzzflash and DemocraticUnderground are no worse than these guys. There is constant whining about how Bush "stole" the election. He is called an idiot, a thief, a coke addict, an alcoholic. Dick Cheney is alleged to be the real power in the White House. ...

If the Washington Post is so upset about full-text article posting on Free Republic, why don't they sue the Common Dreams website? Click on the following link, and try to tell me they didn't copy the entire article without permission from the Washington Post: http://www.commondreams.org/headlines/061700-01.htm Of course, at the bottom of the page there's an explanation of why the Washington Post allows Common Dreams to get away with full-text article posts: "Common Dreams NewsCenter is a non-profit news service providing breaking news and views for the Progressive Community." Common Dreams and the Post share the same left-wing worldview and Common ...
