From the Detroit News, Feb. 28, 2001 Johnson Controls to cut 300 salaried jobs DETROIT -- Johnson Controls Inc., the world's second-largest maker of automotive interiors and seats, plans to cut about 300 salaried positions at its automotive operations in southeast Michigan to trim costs.
