Voted at 11:45 today in Virginia Beach and turnout was pretty heavy. Praying that Rigell will win tonight and Glenn Nye gets the boot.

This is my first time voting in Virginia as I just moved here. Was asked for my drivers license and to recite my name and address to verify. Never once was asked in St Charles Missouri where I grew up.

It is also our duty, whether we like Obama or not, to pray for him and honor him so long as he does not attempt to suppress our freedom of religion and ability to preach the gospel to others.

Absolutely right. Proverbs 16:4 says “The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.” Revelation 17:17 says “For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.” Now, even though Obama is NOT the beast mentioned here it does show that God will give kingdoms to those whom He chooses for His specific purposes.

Also remember that Paul warned us there would be a great falling away from the faith and righteousness before the Man of Perdition is revealed (2 Thessalonians 2:3). Things will only get worse for the world, but the born again believer in Christ’s future has never been better.

I agree with you that Obama is not the Antichrist. I like to give the AC a little more credit than that. I also agree that whether or not Obama realizes it, he is an excellent precursor to what the Man of Perdition will be. Personally, I see no reason to believe that any election in 2012 will play any significance. All of the pieces of the prophetic puzzle are coming in to place. I am now awaiting the strike on Israel predicted in Ezekiel 38-39 which will set in motion the beginning, or close to, of the Great Tribulation.

BTW, I love the comparison of this election to that of Israel choosing Saul. I was going to comment on it earlier but neglected to.

Obama may abandon Israel but the Lord God will certainly not. Ezekiel 38-39, which was predicted thousands of years ago, states that in the latter days Persia (Iran) would make an alliance with Gog and Magog (Russia) along with a confederation of Islamic nations and descend upon Israel. However, the Bible says that no one will come to Israel’s aid except the Lord. In this event He will destroy the invading armies as well as their homelands with plagues, fire from heaven, large hail and floods. Because of this God says He will “...magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.”

Israel will be saved regardless of Americas actions. Our fate though is less certain.

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Mark my words. The moment we turn our back on the Jews God will turn His on us.

What happens tonight is solely based on God’s sovereign plan. He has established the plan from the beginning of the world and nothing will change that.

“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” - Isaiah 46:10.

Remember, God even uses the wicked for his ultimate plan. If Obama wants the presidency that badly, let him have it.

I voted at 11am today here in St. Charles, Missouri. The turnout was higher than I have ever seen. There were clearly more young voters than usual here but I don’t know how to take that. This area is definitely a Republican stronghold.
