In the OT in the book of 1 Samuel we see the children of Israel wanted a king to rule over them, so the Lord gives them Saul, a tall handsome young man whose heart was evil to the extent that he persecuted David for his entire life and he tried desperately to kill him. On one event, David caught Saul off guard sleeping, and he cut off a piece of Saul's garment to prove to Saul that he could have killed him, but David knew that the Lord had anointed Saul as king and had no right in taking Saul's life. Eventually Saul kills himself and falls on his sword.
The people have spoken and have asked for their king, Obama. No, he is not the anti-christ. However, he is going to be used by the Lord to bring this age closer to its end. I think that these next 4 years, will be 4 years of a type of persecution and then the Lord will allow another person to govern this great country and in their time of ruling, they will reform it and build a guard against the outside.
The anti-christ comes out of Europe and all are fooled by his charm. But the USA is not part of this and it becomes a place to flee to during the persecutions of the Christians. There needs to be a stage set to prepare the USA to be that type of nation that does not follow Europe and I think that we need to have a downward spiral 1st in order to once and fall all prove to the mast majority of Americans that we cannot trust the socialist liberal powers at present.
This is the Democrats last time to prove to us that they can govern. They will have full control for 4 years with no one to blame but themselves. They will fail and set the stage for another 12 years of Republican governing which very well may be the end of the age. Then the Lord returns.
Though I admit in the case of Obama, verse 19 probably does not apply.

I agree with you that Obama is not the Antichrist. I like to give the AC a little more credit than that. I also agree that whether or not Obama realizes it, he is an excellent precursor to what the Man of Perdition will be. Personally, I see no reason to believe that any election in 2012 will play any significance. All of the pieces of the prophetic puzzle are coming in to place. I am now awaiting the strike on Israel predicted in Ezekiel 38-39 which will set in motion the beginning, or close to, of the Great Tribulation.
BTW, I love the comparison of this election to that of Israel choosing Saul. I was going to comment on it earlier but neglected to.

Wasn’t it a backlash against a very liberal government that brought Hitler to power?
When I was young, I did not want Jesus Christ returning on my watch. The older I get, the more I wish He'd come back and tell the whole family that He's got a place prepared for us in His father's house, and we don't need to pack a thing.
over stated, I have not idea of the next 4 years.
Year 1: spend money on new suits and get aquanited to the new home.
Year 2: Try to sway congress of all of my promises.
Year 3: Run for 2nd term.
Year 4: Run for 2nd term
This day and age, a new president only is useful for maybe 18 months in office.
I’m 41 and I got saved when I was 20. The Lord needs overcomers and these overcomers are also the bride of Christ. They are dear and near to Him. They are the firstfruits. They are the stone in Daniel that crushes the great image which represents human government.
The next age is not the end of the world, it’s the end of this age and a new age begins.
When Noah got into the ark, that ended an age. When Noah exited the ark, a new age had begun. It is a type ans shadow of the Church as the ark, the vessel that can bring you into the next age as an overcomer.

The anti-christ is on this earth right now, but it is not BHO. It will be someone who by the time they get a lot of power it will be too late, They are in science and have their hands in many other areas. BHO isn’t a science man. Although I am sure he is part of the big picture in someway. How do I know these wierd things? I have my secrets—LOL.

In Revelation it says that the anti-christ will come out of the SEA not an ocean and that last time I checked, the US had not seas near it.
