HARRISBURG, PA — Future sales of assault weapons and any multi-burst trigger activator would be prohibited in Pennsylvania under legislation poised to be introduced in the state House. Two Democratic representatives, Benjamin Sanchez of Montgomery County Aerion Abney of Allegheny County, are co-sponsoring the assault weapons bill. Sanchez is sponsoring separate legislation that would prohibit the trigger activators. In a memo to colleagues, Sanchez and Abney noted that high-capacity semi-automatic rifles in the style of or similar to an AR-15 were found at the mass shooting sites of an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas; an Orlando nightclub; an elementary school...

My wife and I were taking our usual evening walk with our dog on Friday. We walk about 8 miles a day---combined before/after work and at lunch. We were walking Friday evening before meeting with friends and while coming up a hill we noticed a guy blowing leaves---he appeared to be finishing up as he walked down the driveway, then started to walk back up. His house is on the left side of the road and we walk on the left side (toward traffic). There's no sidewalks. As we approached him he kept walking towards us, stopped blowing leaves, then...

It appears Democrat Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman’s “Trump-voting Republican” parents are not Trump-voting Republicans, but card-carrying Democrats. In what seems to be an attempt to paint himself as an everyman candidate who is more Pennsylvanian than partisan, Fetterman apparently talked his parents into claiming they are Trump voters and Republicans in one of his senate campaign ads. “We want to tell you something about John Fetterman. He was raised by two Trump-voting Republicans right here in this house in York,” Karl and Susan Fetterman claim in the 30-second video. “Us!”

At least two New Jersey police officers were shot Tuesday, Fox News Digital has confirmed. The shooting, which reportedly involved a suspect with a long gun, prompted a massive police response in Newark, just across the Hudson River from New York City, Fox 5 New York reported. NBC New York reported that one officer was shot in the leg, and the other in the neck. "All we can confirm is that there was an incident," a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office told Fox News Digital. "Two officers are being treated at a local hospital and it is still...

5 ATVs surround a SUV while driving trying to open the passenger's door. Seems like a pretty bold move for a 450lb ATV vs a 4,000 - 5,000lb vehicle. I wonder what is considered legal for the driver to do when being surrounded by ATV's attempting to open their passenger door and block them?

I really despise this lying scum!!!!! President Biden on Tuesday warned the American people that nearly every COVID-related death this year will be because people have not received the updated vaccine. "Virtually every COVID death in America is preventable," Biden said during an afternoon press conference, standing alongside pharmacy leaders from Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid and Albertsons. "Virtually everyone, almost everyone who will die from COVID this year, will not be up-to-date on their shots."

Video at link Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) was slammed on social media after releasing a shocking campaign commercial that portrays a woman being arrested in front of her family for having an abortion. The ad, which implored voters to support Democrats in next month’s midterm elections, shows police officers informing the woman — in front of her husband and two kids — that there is a warrant out for her arrest over an unlawful abortion. The situation quickly escalates and the cops draw their weapons on the family and handcuff the woman in front of her screaming children.

I ride around Philadelphia with no car insurance. I have fake registration stickers and the police can’t pull me over for an expired inspection. You can’t pull me over if you smell pot coming from my car. And even if I match a description of a perp, there’s no way in hell you can stop and frisk me. If I steal your identity, rob you, or get caught with marijuana with intent to deliver, I don’t have to make cash bail. I can steal your kid’s bike, punch your mother and take her pocketbook on the El, and rob the...

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WENY) - On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled to vacate a lower court ruling that allowed the counting of undated mail ballots in Pennsylvania. Whether undated mail ballots can, or should, be counted is a debate that has the Wolf Administration and Republicans split, and now providing their own interpretation on what yesterday's SCOTUS decision- to toss undated ballots- means for November. “The language is clear in the election code that the ballots need to be dated,” said House Republican Caucus Spokesperson Jason Gottesman. “What this Supreme Court opinion does is now open this up to fresh...

The National Transportation Safety Board is recommending new speed limiter technology. According to a CNN Business report, an electric car equipped with this intelligence speed assistance program knows the speed limit wherever the particular car is traveling. A video demonstrating this speed-limiting program on the CNN Business website showed New York City Deputy Mayor of Operations Meera Joshi is driving a vehicle equipped with the program. While demonstrating the speed limiter program Joshi, formerly FMCSA’s acting administrator, said, “I’m pressing the pedal, but you see actually the number is going down.”

California, a state known for its onerous regulations caused by left-wing policies, has approved legislation to ban stores from providing those helpful little plastic bags that consumers commonly use to store produce while shopping at the supermarket. The new rule is slated to go into effect on January 1, 2025, but even after it takes hold, stores will still be allowed to offer compostable bags and recycled paper bags, according to the bill. The text of the bill states that "a 'precheckout bag' means a bag provided to a customer before the customer reaches the point of sale, that is...

What’s happening: PayPal is updating its acceptable use policy, with the update taking effect on November 3. You might say to yourself, well, I don’t use my account with the financial services company for anything improper or illegal, so what do I have to worry about? Here’s why that might not necessarily be true: PayPal says it’s expanding its existing list of prohibited activities to include the “sending, posting, or publication of messages, content, or materials that meet certain criteria.” The full details are explained right here, but PayPal is basically set to start levying a fine when users are...

In Pennsylvania, where Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman is in a heated matchup against GOP nominee Dr. Mehmet Oz in the battle for the state's open Senate seat, a new poll suggests that voters prefer the Democratic candidate on critical issues, despite the majority of respondents having an unfavorable opinion of Democrat President Biden. A new Monmouth University survey among voters in Pennsylvania found that despite Biden's underwater approval rating, the majority of voters trust Fetterman over Oz to best handle every issue of top concern, including abortion, the economy, crime and immigration. "The economy is an issue that has...

The title is a bit misleading, but like everything else I believe this is step #1 leading to a more nefarious database. In a move that has many folks scratching their heads, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has renewed its push for the People’s Garden Initiative which now includes registering vegetable gardens nationwide. According to the USDA, the move is to foster a “more diverse and resilient local food system to empower communities to address issues like nutrition access and climate change.” But those who have been following the USDA closely for years know that they couldn’t care less...

There have been 18 incidents of gun violence at city parks and recreation facilities this year alone, including one that took the life of 41-year-old Tiffany Fletcher.
