This article is unbelievable. Roland Martin compares Obama’s relationship with Ayers to McCain’s relationship with Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond, and Robert Byrd. In other words, he’s saying there is a moral equivalency in Obama cavorting with a terrorist and McCain serving in the Senate with racists.

What kind of twisted mental thought processes did he have to go through to come up with that one? And there countless people who will read that drivel and buy into it. It’s sad.

This raises the nature vs. nurture argument. Here you have the flesh and blood son of the greatest president in our lifetimes, and he's a girlie-man. Apparently, he didn't even vote for his father.

You are absolutely correct! I cancelled my subscription to my local mullet wrapper in favor of the Sentinel during the Clinton impeachment saga because the Sentinel (at least) called for Clinton to resign (again, would that have happened without Charley Reese?) and my local paper did not.

Yes, I believe he was. Kyle Petty drove for him for a number of years. And I don't seem to recall him (Sabates) touting his Hispanic culture, heritage, or ethnicity (whatever you want to call it).

The Hispanic Racing Team? Aside from being a rather unimaginative name, I think their in-your-face style of trumpeting their culture, heritage, ethnicity, (whatever you want to call it), is unnecessary at best and provoking at worst. Why the necessity to make sure that everyone knows their team is Hispanic? To me, it mearly points out that they have more pride in being Hispanic than they do in being American! I mean if they just shut their pie holes and raced, I would at least respect them as racers.

Additionally, just think of what would happen if I were to start the WASP Race Team. I'd be called a bigot, a racist, and a whole lot more! Hmmm....the WASP RACE TEAM...kind of has a stinging ring to it, no?
