That would excise 90% of the metastasis, while leaving the ‘red’ areas, the overwhelming percentage of land mass intact.

But seriously... we re-elected MOONBEAM?! And now this, Kamala, running prosecutions on behalf of the state. It is a like a sick joke. Maybe it is time to look elsewhere.

Not so sure about that. My Camry Hybrid is the best, most reliable car I’ve ever owned. All the Logan Airport Taxis run these cars. Unfortunately the GM BAS systems weren’t so hot, but those were half-baked hybrids anyway, the Volt should fare better; at least from a technical standpoint. The parallel systems favored by Ford and Toyota are totally different. They are also far simpler in design with regard to parts that break. For example, my Camry doesn’t have or need an alternator, starter, or transmission. The ‘PSD’ which takes the place of the transmission is the size of a small pumpkin and holds only a few moving parts.

At 60,000 miles, I’m looking at struts and a set of front hubs soon. That’s it, no other operational problems in nearly 4 years.

I came here, basically to say exactly this. I keep a .357 for home defense, with the nice feature of being able to shoot cheap .38 wadcutters at the range. My wife has a “Lady Smith” .38+p, which is nice, and substantially more powerful than regular .38 loads.

I’ve got, well, “used to have” semi-autos as well. They are nice, but one stovepipe jam can ruin your whole home invasion experience. With a wheel gun, you just can’t go wrong in an emergency. And with .357 magnum, even if you miss, the report and flash will likely scare the assailant to death. There are special home defense rounds too which minimize collateral backstop damage.

I just checked Jet Blue. Long Beach - DC (IAD) is $119 out and $109 return. The outbound is limited at that price for a Sunday departure. Return on Tuesday is wide open at $109.
