Stable Diffusion is a deep learning, text-to-image model released in 2022. It is primarily used to generate detailed images conditioned on text descriptions, though it can also be applied to other tasks such as inpainting, outpainting, and generating image-to-image translations guided by a text prompt. It was developed by the start-up Stability AI in collaboration with a number of academic researchers and non-profit organizations. Stable Diffusion is a latent diffusion model, a kind of deep generative neural network. Its code and model weights have been released publicly, and it can run on most consumer hardware equipped with a modest GPU...

Thomas Jefferson wrote that “all men are created equal,” and yet enslaved more than six-hundred people over the course of his life. Although he made some legislative attempts against slavery and at times bemoaned its existence, he also profited directly from the institution of slavery and wrote that he suspected black people to be inferior to white people in his Notes on the State of Virginia. Throughout his entire life, Thomas Jefferson was publicly a consistent opponent of slavery. Calling it a “moral depravity”1 and a “hideous blot,”2 he believed that slavery presented the greatest threat to the survival of...

Now there are / have been a plethora of ticktock videos of radicals advocating urinating inside a police car to take it out of service. Once a car is urinated in, it is out of service for at least 24hrs for cleaning. It is not illegal to "soil yourself" they say. (never mind the vandalism charge) Publicizing this actually makes blm/antifa look even more silly. Why is ticktock even allowed to be distributed on any app store?

This is a question. If any person while protesting engages in property damage (which is not protect speech) and then arrested and convicted they should not be qualified for student loan programs. How does one communicate this to our elected officials? Since student loans are controlled by the executive branch, can an executive order bypass the do nothing house? Just asking because it seems even the conversation would give these rioters pause. Even if they are out of school, if they have loans then they should be disqualified from repayment forgiveness programs.

Fictional Cold War warrior James Bond should be played by a woman, Theresa May has said, hailing the new female Doctor Who as a victory for “girl power”. Speaking on a flight to Cyprus last week, where she gave a Christmas address to troops at RAF Akrotiri, the prime minister revealed she was a fan of the BBC science fiction show Doctor Who, and lauded the public broadcaster’s decision to cast Jodie Whittaker in the iconic time traveller’s role. “I think it’s a great move forward for girl power that there is going to be a female Doctor Who. And...

On Thursday Sens. John Cornyn (R-TX), Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) announced a new gun control bill which centers on background checks for gun purchases. The bill was also signed by Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and Dean Heller (R-NV). Fox News Congressional reporter Chad Pergram tweeted that the bill is designed to “strengthen the background check system” in the wake of the Texas church attack. ==snip= Murphy is ecstatic. He tweeted that the legislation is the most significant gun law promoted since Sen. Joe Manchin (D-NW) pushed universal background checks as a response...

The true story of Santa Claus begins with Nicholas, who was born during the third century in the village of Patara. At the time the area was Greek and is now on the southern coast of Turkey. His wealthy parents, who raised him to be a devout Christian, died in an epidemic while Nicholas was still young. Obeying Jesus' words to "sell what you own and give the money to the poor," Nicholas used his whole inheritance to assist the needy, the sick, and the suffering. He dedicated his life to serving God and was made Bishop of Myra while...

What a remarkably moving thing to see an old Marine declaring his gratitude for the privilege of having fought one last battle on behalf of a man he feels might yet be among this country’s greatest presidents in a video that is now understandably going viral. It does not get much more American than this – and thank you for your service, Dr. Larry Lindsey. “…It is you people the good people of America for whom I cry, my loved ones and my friends, and the sacrifices they continue to make in this fight for our country. Dying is the...

It has been an increasingly caustic environment behind the scenes between Team Trump and GOP elites that has seen Republican power brokers effectively wall in the Trump campaign. GOP funding has been all but cut off, and so too has the institutionalized state-to-state ground game so critical in winning battleground states on Election Day. Donald Trump, and his millions of supporters, are truly on their own. The primary impetus behind this effort is said to be three-fold, coming in the form of House Speaker Paul Ryan, Ohio Governor John Kasich, and long-ago ousted, onetime GOP presidential front-runner, Jeb Bush. The...

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, his face contorted in a scowl, doesn’t get up to greet Alex Villalobos when the big-eyed 42-year-old state senator enters the dimly lit office connected to the executive suite of Tallahassee’s Capitol building. It’s early May 2006, shortly after the last day of the legislative session, and Villalobos is seething. He’s recently been banished from party leadership and his oak-lined office in the Capitol — largely because he voted against the governor’s pet project: making school vouchers part of the state constitution and doing away with a law that limits class sizes in the state’s schools....

His name is Mike Murphy. To those who don’t follow politics much, the name means nothing. To those who watch and understand the great control the establishment operatives of both political parties have over election-day outcomes, Mike Murphy is a name that is instantly recognizable. He is the insider’s insider, a man who has made a very good living creating the illusion of Election Day choice via work for John McCain, Mitt Romney, and now Jeb Bush. As of October, 2015, he is Donald Trump’s #1 enemy and appears intent on doing everything in his power to destroy any chance...

For centuries there has been debate over the Second Amendment and the scope of the right that it secures. There was sparse definitive guidance on what exactly is safeguarded under the Second Amendment until 2008, when the U.S. Supreme Court defined the core meaning of the amendment in District of Columbia v. Heller. At the time, the District had some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation. Nearly all District residents were barred from owning handguns, and they were also prohibited from keeping firearms of any sort within their homes unless they were disassembled or bound by a...

Media mogul and creator of the Fox Broadcasting Company, Barry Diller made it clear today he has no intention of seeing Donald Trump become the next President of the United States. The fellow billionaire went so far as to suggest to CNBC that should Donald Trump win he would, “move out of the country, or join the resistance.” Interestingly, Diller’s comments come just forty-eight hours after a D.C. Whispers report included this information regarding an effort by powerful Mainstream political and media figures to successfully terminate the Trump campaign: “…It was also stated that news media executives at each the...

I n April a BMW racing through a fruit market in Foshan in China’s Guangdong province knocked down a 2-year-old girl and rolled over her head. As the girl’s grandmother shouted, “Stop! You’ve hit a child!” the BMW’s driver paused, then switched into reverse and backed up over the girl. The woman at the wheel drove forward once more, crushing the girl for a third time. When she finally got out from the BMW, the unlicensed driver immediately offered the horrified family a deal: “Don’t say that I was driving the car,” she said. “Say it was my husband. We...
