Pa Governor has on short notice closed the Pa unionized liquor licensed stores, which in PA are the only stores. This will cause these horrible bums to be paid while not working and get votes for the worst in life governor. We in PA need your support in defying this ban, which is a socialist government ban on free trade. Here is the number of the PR person for the PLCB (1 717 919 1905 Liquor Board) Elizabeth Brassel and the PA gov's number is 1-717-787-2500 These jerks need a lot of calls. Thanks for your help George
  • Can we fund busses to San francisco

If we can fund Free republic to the tune of $ 88,000 per quarter, is it not possible to fund bus trips to San Fransisco to the same amount for illegal immigrants. As a group we have serious collective money ability and if known elsewhere there could be a lot more. Starting to send just a few busses would shock the overburdened San Francisco and their beloved Pelosi. If that does not work for you, then lets give maps out at the border for sanctuary cities.

I have received an invitation to a luncheon to discuss my back nerve problems from a group I do not know. The only people who know about this problem are my doctors who are all within the same group. So how did this other group know about my problem? Did someone sell my medical problem? That would be a HPIA violation of the law. This was a personal addressed invitation. I am not sure how to proceed, but if I get some great advice here, I will send $250 to FR and as Proof of that commitment, I will send...
  • She does not want to count the votes

Jill does not want a recount, she wants to nullify the votes. She can do this with a slow recount that goes beyond the certification date 12/13. If a state does not certify to Congress by that date the votes do not count and Hillary wins. She can slow the count by challenges which will get them beyond the certify date. Remember Michigan just reported their final vote a week ago, almost three weeks after the election.

The Republicans have themselves in a hole, but here is how to get out of it. Pass a Clean bill for Dhs. Then pass a bill in both the House and Senate that says you oppose what Obama did and believe it is unconstitutional, but passed DHS only to protect the country. Pass a bill the is a "sense of the congress" which does not require a presidential signature and therefore is veto proof, but puts the Supreme court on notice. Since the Supreme Court relies on "congressional intent" and the "will of the people as expressed by the congress"...

Kerry's stupid remark on demanding a one week turn over of weapons of mass destruction has now caused Putin to agree and Assad's alleged agreement has caused a total breakdown of Obama's position. Obama tonight suggested it was his idea, which of course is false. Putin may have now saved our incompetent president

I purchased a powerful pellet gun for my sister and we sighted in for the correct distance. However the location of the scope will be different for her than it was for me as she is shorter and the scope needs to be more to the rear for her. Will this affect the sighting in or is it the same regardless of the location of the scope? Thanks for your help

I am sick and tired of this site being taken over by Catholics ( of which I am one ) stories or proverbs. This is a news site not a religion site. Go do that somewhere else. I am not opposed to your prostilazion(sp), just not here. We lose credibility if any religious group dictates or can be quoted from this site. As a long term member of this site I regret posting this information, but the site has been buried in Catholic stuff recently and it should be shunted to some separate page.

Tonight's crescent moon is surrounded by a blue circle. I noticed it while going outside to move tomorrow's garbage. I then put on my distance glasses and could see a red stripe within the blue. I suspect it is a really high cloud with moisture that is getting sun. We are in Pittsburgh, so it may not appear the same for all.

I recall that years ago there was a stink about executive compensation. There were tax law changes limiting compensation to I believe one million dollars for corporate deduct ability purposes. These were imposed by the democrats( I think it was under the Carter Administration) and which lead to the "bonus system" which was excluded as it was based on performance. This lead to stock options and to bonus payments. Does anyone remember these changes as I believe they run to the heart of the current controversy? Thanks, Learner

There is no difference between the conduct of the president and that of Nero, who danced as the fires burned. Our president is working on stem cells,Guantanamo, health care, signing statements, and everything but the real problem; the banking crisis. He has appointed fools and baffons who cannot address the problems or hire staff. Yet he goes to Ohio to address 25 one year funded jobs as a success at the time over 600,000 people lost their jobs. Is this guy clueless;or what??

So you dumped my post on baseball players being wimps. But the article had more to do with baseball than just the fact that they cry about the rain and their little outfits get wet. It also had to do with fans and taxpayers. Do you oppose those groups also? Where did my original post go? Or do you just dump what you do not agree with? You would not be perhaps fans of one of the two teams playing?

These over paid baseball players are wimps. They spend their lives playing baseball, living in gyms, probably using drugs and chasing underage girls, but cannot play in the rain? What a bunch of wimps! The boys of summer may be light in the boots. Their ancestors rode and walked across this nation in all sorts of weather, but not these whining over stuffed shirts. No, it is raining and I am cold, so tell the 60,000 fans to wait or come back later. Baseball has looted many cities in this nation for new stadiums. Have you ever considered what you do...
