If we can fund Free republic to the tune of $ 88,000 per quarter, is it not possible to fund bus trips to San Fransisco to the same amount for illegal immigrants. As a group we have serious collective money ability and if known elsewhere there could be a lot more. Starting to send just a few busses would shock the overburdened San Francisco and their beloved Pelosi.

This is all pretty stupid. The DEMs will scream about it, yet if it were to happen, they would provide money and transportation to other (red, purple) states.
That was my first thought - DHS should put up a chart detailing the cost/person to ship to various sanctuary cities and we could send payment to sponsor the trip for as many as we wanted.
Commercial bus one way is roughly $219-231 from Austin, TX to San Francisco.
One way flight thru Orbitz.Com is only $112 for the same trip.
Not realistic. You can get more bang for your buck with trains. Load them up in cattle cars and ship them in. Trust me they are used to traveling that way.

I think pre-printed maps to sanctuary cities is both cheap and easy. That program should also be instituted.

When an asylum claimant is released after 20 days, isn’t he given a bus ticket, or taken by bus to some destination he claims has friends or family? So, that means that the argument that there is no funding for a specific destination that Dems don’t like for NIMBY reasons—i.e., sanctuary cities—is completely false? They are already being transported with provided funds.

Some things never change. When I was joining the Navy in high school (through the Delayed Entry Program), the cost to fly me the airport closest to my in-processing military base (Fort Douglas) for interviews, physicals, paperwork, etc. was half of what a Greyhound bus trip cost. But their travel office would put up a fuss and fight the flight every time. It’s like they wanted it to cost more. For some perverse bean-counter reason, they probably did.
