That was my first thought - DHS should put up a chart detailing the cost/person to ship to various sanctuary cities and we could send payment to sponsor the trip for as many as we wanted.

Not realistic. You can get more bang for your buck with trains. Load them up in cattle cars and ship them in. Trust me they are used to traveling that way.

When an asylum claimant is released after 20 days, isn’t he given a bus ticket, or taken by bus to some destination he claims has friends or family? So, that means that the argument that there is no funding for a specific destination that Dems don’t like for NIMBY reasons—i.e., sanctuary cities—is completely false? They are already being transported with provided funds.

for MANY years, San Fransicko bused their beggars and bums OUT of town, indeed they wanted to get them as far away as possible ... buying them tickets to their homes in the other 56 states OR if that didn’t work for an individual, at least sending them to Reno, Nevada.

OK, I am a native and a California resident. Because
the looney political leadership decided we need to be
a sanctuary state I am among those who have real skin
in the game. But I support the idea that if the nation
is going to bring in these illegal aliens the sanctuary
cities and states need to be where they are sent. It
is only fair. The idea that those who support illegal
gate crashers can compel non sanctuary communities and
states to accept illegals because they wont take them
in is repulsive.
Give the authority to assign destinations for the
illegals to the Rats and the first thing they will
do is to pick out the purple regions on the political
map. Later, they will figure out how to register the
invaders for voting. If the law doesn’t permit sending
them to sanctuary areas the next best thing might be
to provide them w/fliers explaining why it is in their
best interest to take up residence in sanctuary cities
for the sake of their safety.
Personally, as far as I am concerned those sent to
California should be sent to LA and the SF area still.
Those of us who reside inland aren’t the people who
support this sanctuary bullshit.
