The state elections board voted Tuesday morning to allow six Republicans to run as Democrats in upcoming recall elections against Gov. Scott Walker, Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, and four Republican senators. The Government Accountability Board said that the six candidates could not be blocked from running under Wisconsin law. The Republican Party of Wisconsin recruited six candidates — Gladys Huber, Isaac Weix, Gary Ellerman, Tamra Lyn Varebrook, James...

As Right Wing Watch and ThinkProgress report, little Iris also refuses to guide users toward abortion providers. But Iris goes one step further. While Siri simply refuses to give the information, Iris quotes the Bible to make her point. “Abortion is wrong. The Lord has said ‘You shall not murder,’ (Exodus 20:13). The life that is growing within the mother is a child, a baby. The Bible looks at the life in the womb as...

The ingredient statement also fails to declare the milk, wheat or crab, which can cause serious or life-threatening reactions to people with allergies.

A client at a local temp agency was a little put off that signing a recall petition made her ineligible for an $8.75-an-hour clerk job with the state. The client, who didn't want to talk on the record and whose husband contacted The Capital Times, didn't know if that was policy for all state jobs because she wasn't told what state agency she would be working for. Turns out, that job was checking signatures on recall petitions for the Government Accountability Board, which plans to hire 50 temp workers to deal with recall efforts against Gov. Scott Walker, Lt. Gov....
