Calling me son? Why not call me boy?
Are you Joe Bidan?
Anyway, at my age, I take that as a compliment.
I make every effort to write honestly.
Often when debates occur, a debater gets painted in a corner and has to start making up facts.
Actually, humblegunner, I’ve been blogging for a number of years. The Jittery Goat has had its own .com site and Wordpress. Although my numbers are not large, for a private blogger I’m quite satisfied with the results. My Jittery Goat.com (which is about to expire and not to be confused with The Jittery Goat on blogspot) has had over 200,000 visits the last two years.
Of all the blogs I’ve had, I would estimate I’ve had over 1,000,000 views.
To answer your original question, you’re right, I don’t get very much traffic from this site—about 30 hits.
I do this because I enjoy it. It’s that simple. If I turn out a good piece that’s all the matters to me. Someone reading it is inconsequential.
Good question.
I wanted to use the Jittery Goat mainly for fiction; short stories and excerpts from my novels. And thus use Terms by Lehman for non-fiction stuff.
It is uncertain whether it is a good idea or not but it made sense.
