  • Library delays showing Moore documentary after lawsuit (tax-exempt organization)

    I am Mr. Pengov,
I listed my vote for sale, not to actually sell it but to get some attention to the health care problems facing our nation. It worked as Mr. Kerry's first mention of health care was the evening my story went national. Of course, Mr. Kerry's plan to get drugs from Canada was shot down by officials from Canada.
As for the library, the injunction that I filed was first to stop the movie before the election (I got what I wanted, no showings till after the election) and second, to get the library to take steps to keep children out of the show without parental permission; It is after all rated R. (I lost)
The Elyria Library has promised me that even a 7 year-old is welcome to the show. Not that one would want to see it! The problem that I had is the show will be on a large screen right by the restrooms and the war footage is too graphic for children to process if they see it. There is a scene in the film that depicts a soldier touching the private parts of a corpse and making fun of it. Moore went so far as to sub title the clip so you would be sure to notice. Moore is a sick pervert and his film is a low blow to our military as well as the President.
God Bless Our Troops! Hats off to all of you that are also fighting to keep President Bush for 4 more years.

  • '9/11' to air on public-access TV in Tucson Why not "Stolen Honor" in our towns...

The movie "Fahrenheit 9/11" is not a documentary. The DVD contains the disclaimer that "the following interviews and commentaries are for entertainment only"
Since the movie depicts sex acts with a corpse, public obscenity laws will keep it of the air! Look at Title 1 Chapter 25 on the DVD at the time mark of 1 hour 37 min. 38 sec.
An injunction will serve to stop the airing on public TV. Also contact the FCC and advise them of the public obscenity. If they edit out all the profanity, nudity, and obscenity. The movie will be over almost before it starts.
You have to press the issue that this filth is "fro entertainment only" by the films own admission and therefore it is not protected from public censorship laws.
I know this because I am the man that stopped the showing at my public library!

Thanks for the support! I am the man that filed the suit. Two key points.
    1. Fahrenheit 9/11 is not a documentary. The DVD contains the following disclaimer "The following interviews and commentaries are for entertainment only"
    2. The move violates public decency laws if it is shown in public. 1 hour 38 minutes 37 sec. the film shows a soldier touching the genetailia of a corpse. The scene is explicit which is ok for a documentary but not for "entertainment only"
I have a viewing guide that details all the graphic language and violence. I had to make it for court. I also filed an affidavit to the same effect.
The library has decided not to show the film before the election. If I have my way, my tax dollars will never be used to show that filth to children.
The media just likes the political aspect better so that is how they spin it. Both are key issues.
Thanks again for the support. Public objection hindered the library e-mail system and they now screen phone calls to see if the caller lives in Elyria. Any person that pays tax in Ohio is paying for this filth so call the library all you want and tell them that levy supporters gave you permission to complain when they attempt to screen you.

Sensorship? The Library used that same word when they promised to let every child into the movie so that they would not be accused of sensorship! "R ratings only apply to the movie industries and not the libraries" is what the head librarian told me. That's why.

The Plaintiff has prepared the following guide as a courtesy to all parties involved with, or concerned with, the outcome of the above captioned case.
    Format is as follows: T = Title / Ch = chapter / Hr = hour / Min = minute / Sec = second

T 01, Ch 01, @ 2sec is the following: “The following interviews and commentaries are for entertainment only”
T 01, Ch 17, @ 1Hr, 12min, 32sec. Is the following: A fully naked child, genitalia fully exposed, lying on a table with arm blown in ½. Graphic nudity and carnage. “for entertainment only”
T 01, Ch25, @1Hr, 37min, 38sec is the following: Soldiers laughing and making fun of one of many dead combatants with the sub-title “Ali Baba still has a hard-on”. The footage shows a close shot of a corpse, covered with a blanket, with an erect penis. As the sub-title “Why are you touching someone else’s ...” Followed by the sub-title “He touched his dick” The words are clearly being spoken in the footage and the action being described in the sub-titles are shown in the film that was made “for entertainment only”
Other areas of interest include the words “Mother F**ker”(un-edited in film) four times at T 01, Ch 17, @1Hr, 12min, 14sec. “for entertainment only”
    Public beheading @ T1, Ch9, 37min, 14sec “For entertainment only”
Dead broken and bloody baby being placed in the back of a pick up truck full of dead bodies “For entertainment only” @ 1Hr, 10min, 36sec
Injured young child that has released his body fluids into his pants, being carried by an Arab man. @ 1Hr, 11min, 44sec. “For entertainment only”
Dead, bloated body @ 1Hr, 12min, 46sec “For entertainment only”
Severely burned women @ 1Hr, 12min, 59sec “For entertainment only”
2 dead American soldiers lying in the streets @ 1Hr, 19min, 24sec “For entertainment only”
2 American soldiers blown up before your eyes “For entertainment only” @ 1Hr, 20min, 52sec.
American soldier crying out “I’m hurting” while medics work on his broken body, “For entertainment only” @ 1Hr, 21min, 14sec
Burned corpse being beat with a stick, drug threw the streets and hung from a bridge, “For entertainment only” @ 1hr, 22min, 8sec
Civilian hostages being terrorized by enemy soldiers @ 1Hr, 23min, 1sec “For entertainment only”
More bloody American soldiers, “For entertainment only”, at 1Hr, 23min, 56sec.
And the Defendants have assured me that they would not engage in censorship by keeping even small children away from the viewing room.
This is not a complete list of the graphic carnage or profanity. This list is compiled in an attempt to direct all parties to the specific public decency violations without the need to be subjected to the horrors and profanity that runs rampant in this film, “For entertainment only”

    Respectfully submitted,

I have prepared a Viewing Guide to the movie "Fahrenheit 9/11" that details the legal "obscenity". I also filed a lawsuit to stop the showing of the film at my local library. The strongest argument against showing the film seems to be at Title 01, Chapter 25, 1 Hour and 37 minutes into the film. At this point, a soldier engages in indecent acts with a corpse. Most states have laws that prohibit the public showing of such acts and, therefore, the film can be stopped from public viewing in all tax-funded public places.
