I heard on NPR earlier today that US Special Forces had raided the Kabul hospital where several wounded Al Qaeda personnel have barricaded themselves for the last several weeks. Sarah Chaise (sp?) reported that 3 pickup loads of US troops entered the hospital after hours, and that there was a 15 minute gun battle following an explosion. There were no reports of casualties. I haven't seen any coverage of this on FR, or on any other web source. Can anyone provide additional details/confirmation?
