(JNS) Over recent days, foreign leaders, rulers and tyrants flocked to New York City for the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, also known as UNGA. Did you listen to their speeches? I thought not. So, it occurred to me that I should provide you with the highlights. Only I couldn’t find any. So instead, I will treat you to some lowlights—lies, evasions, boilerplate and insults to your intelligence. Start with Xi Jinping, president of the People’s Republic of China, who pledged “to fight COVID-19 in solidarity” and “always put people and their lives first and care about...

Remember when John McCain was hailed by the Democrats for being a "maverick" because he often voted against his own party? Well, now that Joe Manchin (and Kyrsten Sinema) are opposing the $3.5 trillion Reconciliation Bill, the Democrats are most definitely NOT calling him a maverick. Instead they are calling him a lot of other unfriendly names as Manchin Derangement Syndrome goes red hot.

BERLIN, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Germany's Social Democrats narrowly won Sunday's national election, projected results showed, and claimed a "clear mandate" to lead a government for the first time since 2005 and to end 16 years of conservative-led rule under Angela Merkel. The centre-left Social Democrats (SPD) were on track for 26.0% of the vote, ahead of 24.5% for Merkel's CDU/CSU conservative bloc, projections for broadcaster ZDF showed....

A Republican political candidate in Virginia is apologizing for mocking the nose of the state’s Jewish House speaker — but he says his comment was not meant to be anti-Semitic. Eileen Filler-Corn, a Democrat, made history in 2020 when she became the first Jewish and first woman speaker of the oldest legislature in the United States, the Virginia House of Delegates. Last week, the state’s House Democratic caucus tweeted praise of Filler-Corn for her work on education, attaching a picture of her addressing an online meeting. Hahns Copeland, a Republican who is running for a seat in the House, replied...

Wuhan and US scientists were planning to release enhanced airborne coronavirus particles into Chinese bat populations to inoculate them against diseases that could jump to humans, leaked grant proposals dating from 2018 show. New documents show that just 18 months before the first Covid-19 cases appeared, researchers had submitted plans to release skin-penetrating nanoparticles and aerosols containing “novel chimeric spike proteins” of bat coronaviruses into cave bats in Yunnan, China. They also planned to create chimeric viruses, genetically enhanced to infect humans more easily, and requested $14million from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) to fund the work. Papers,...

What’s going on in Area C? That was the question we posed to Gilad Ach, director of the Ad Kan non-profit organization, and the answer we received was shocking indeed. According to Ach, while Jewish construction in Area C has been severely curtailed if not outright frozen during recent years, Palestinian construction under the auspices of the Palestinian Authority is going right ahead, funded by member countries of the European Union. Area C is under effective Israeli control and in the event of a future peace deal will likely be included within Israel’s sovereign borders. This hasn’t stopped countries like...

Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was killed by a robot, The New York Times reported Saturday. Fakhrizadeh was assassinated in November 2020, and initial reports claimed he was gunned down by a remote-controlled machine gun. According to the new Times report, the gun was planted in a pickup truck by Iranian agents, and operated by a Mossad sniper working on a computer located outside Iran. The newspaper also said that the gun was a beta test of a weapon "kitted out with artificial intelligence and multiple-camera eyes, operated via satellite and capable of firing 600 rounds a minute." The truck itself...

Former US President Donald Trump criticized US President Joe Biden, claiming that he is "worse than Obama." In an interview with Newsmax, Trump criticized the US Department of Justice, claiming that Biden is using it as a weapon. Responding to a question about Biden's demand that several Trump appointees to military service academy boards resign, Trump said, "They use local prosecutors, federal prosecutors, and yet Hunter Biden is fine." Trump added, "You know, he was going to be the great unifier. But he's not a unifier. He's the opposite." "He's worse than Obama," Trump emphasized to Newsmax, adding, "Of course,...

Footage shared by Channel 12 reveals that government ministers don't actually believe there is medical justification for some Green Pass restrictions currently in place. The footage shows Ministers Ayelet Shaked and Nitzan Horowitz having a conversation, unaware that the microphone is capturing their remarks. "I also think that you can remove the Green Pass for restaurants outside," Shaked says. "Pools, too, not just restaurants," Horowitz responds. "Epidemiologically, that is correct." "Correct," Shaked concurs. Horowitz continues to say that the restrictions are really only in place to put pressure on unvaccinated people to get vaccinated. "The issue is, and I'm telling...
