Iranian member of Parliament Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani said in an interview this weekend that he believed his country had successfully developed a nuclear weapon, contrary to international law, but would not admit to it.
Ardestani claimed that Iran would still claim to be abiding by the “Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action” (JCPOA), the 2015 agreement brokered by American President Barack Obama that dramatically reduced sanctions on Tehran in exchange for promises not to expand its nuclear development. Iran has consistently violated the nuclear deal for years; President Donald Trump withdrew from the deal in 2018 but the other four countries that joined the JCPOA – China, France, Germany, Russia, and the United Kingdom – remain parties to it.

The Iranians achieve nuclear weapons as soon as Biden was elected in November 2020. So, it’s really ‘old news’, and perhaps even older than that, when Obama sent them a plane-load of cash to build their nuclear weapons.
They may just “achieve” a few more soon, courtesy of the IDF....

Obama assured us with the Iranian deal that they were only interested in industrial and civil use of nuclear reactors...

Yes, and in this case if they actually did have anything, Israel would have already leveled the place— as their “show” bombing outside was demonstrating to Iran. They would do it, and John Kerry can’t do a thing about it. One more reason Israel needs more firewall and info desert established between IDF (Mossad and ShinBet) and the US DOD and especially State Dept. It may be real time, no longer show time. Iran would use a nuke. Israel has plenty and. they work.
Nuclear weapons? Sheesh...there's something much more destructive to America than that.

If they had they would have already sent it by truck, boat or commercial plane to Israel.
Iran has very competent engineers and scientists. They have nuclear fuel and know how to separate U235 and Plutonium. The basic designs of crude nuclear weapons are available in your local library. Iran thus has a functional nuclear weapon if they desire it. Do they have sophisticated small weapons is an unknown. Small thermonuclear weapons are important as to ease of delivery and total yield. The last is an unknown. Do they have nuclear weapons is a known. If they have the designs from North Korea of which they have collaborated with, they have small effectively delivered thermonuclear weapons if North Korea’s thermocunclear weapons have been minturized as those of the USA, Britain, France and Russia.
I forgot to add is Israels policy called the “Samson Option.” Just a few thermonuclear weapons would take out Israel as a functioning society. Israel could lose all their land-based missiles and aircraft and still destroy an enemy via sub launched thermonuclear weapons. Vengeance would rise from the seas.
There would be no winners. Just death and destruction.
