Like jail for the January 6 truly peaceful protesters and nothing but crickets about any punishment for the lawless so called peaceful protesters who stole burned and occupied democrat welcome mat areas. Their actions were planned and truly condoned….8 month later the word got out, just the opposite here but our people are still jailed? Where’s our representation?

In the military, you don’t gain anything but problems for violating direct orders. And factually, lose.

He was ordered not to discuss the topic, did so in a public format making statements about supervising staff, so he violated Article 92, and a few others, of the UCMJ. Just that simple. The topic was inconsequential.

The military world is different than the outside world and is a world of order and obedience. Stepping outside those orders at this level is not only damaging, but stupid as he had to know that this much “leak” was going to get him in a lot of trouble. And a lieutenant colonel, a field grade officer, should know better than this type of action.

We don’t live in a world of patriots and heroes in reality. Military members have to make a choice for their actions and he did, the wrong one. He isn’t telling anyone anything the public didn’t already know from the outcome of the Afghanistan withdraw so his efforts were wasted. And in the meantime he created a further breakdown of the appearance of discipline obviously displaying to Charlie of confusion and disorder which will enbrave the terrorist organizations to further actions. He may get a lot of people harmed.

So many people expect there to be some kind of justice. While there has probably never been justice, all of us can tell somehow that we have slipped into Something other than a Republic. People who speak the truth are jailed, because the violate orders to shut up. CIA agents and Military who lie, or exaggerate, are given ‘whistleblower’ stays. Reporters that go along with fake stories for political reasons get prizes. Reporters who report the news are jobless.

Take a step back and a deep breath. I am sure you can smell the Fascists just like I can. No, they are not socialists. They get rich working with corporations while the masses get poorer and take the risks. They provide bread and circus, hoping most people don’t notice the truth.

“Donate.”

Donate to what? FR? If you don’t care to elaborate, you might at least provide a link.

I had expected Tyrus to provide a link. He starts out announcing they’d raised $2M for his defense and support. If I find out anything, I’ll update the thread.

I believe he violated chain of command because he no longer valued it, since his commanders had discredited themselves by refusing to stand up for their men and personally suffer the consequences of their own failure. This was both a protest and a rejection of the values under which he had lived, but at the same time an attempt to show the brass what they should do but won’t. He cared more for the men he had commanded as an LTC than he did for the hierarchy under which he had previously been led.

He'd have to climb a ladder to get his foot that high.

Why isn't he getting the same treatment that Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman got?
