I've been viewing FR for well over twenty years, and the majority of the time I've used Google Chrome as my preferred browser on a Samsung tablet. Recently, FR font displays have appeared extremely small, even with font and zoom settings adjusted to maximum size. It's only that way on FR using Chrome. I can switch to Firefox and everything is fine, but was wondering if anyone else was having any similar problems.

I wrote a historical fiction novel titled "A Night that Saved Virginia" My E-Book version is free on Amazon November 9th & 10th. It's an adventure framed around the true story of Jack Jouett, who saved Virginia's Governor, Thomas Jefferson, and the state's legislators from capture by the British in 1781. If you read it, I hope you enjoy it!

Democrats are not dumb. Question is, are Republicans smart? Put another way, will GOP voters in Virginia’s 2nd District fall for an underhanded and malicious campaign by far-left political action committees and be suckered into voting for an unelectable extreme candidate in Tuesdays’ primary? Let’s hope not. Democrat Elaine Luria needs to go. Luria, a left-winger who masquerades as a congressional moderate at election time, is in very real danger of losing her seat in November’s mid-terms. Proof of that is the expensive disinformation campaign being waged on her behalf by murky PACs that are lying about the record of...

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (AP) - A liberal super PAC is jumping into a New Mexico contested GOP U.S. House primary and running commercials in apparent support of a President Donald Trump ally that Democrats believe they can defeat in November. Patriot Majority PAC began airing television commercials Saturday attacking oil executive Claire Chase for previous critical social media posts about Trump while praising former state lawmaker Yvette Herrell for supporting Trump’s border wall. “There’s Santa Fe lobbyist Claire Chase who opposed President Trump, calling him an (expletive) unworthy of the office,” a voice says while pictures of Chase are aired....

My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed the television series Blacklist, and I would recommend this nine season action thriller to anyone who enjoyed the likes of "24" or "Designated Survivor". My one question to Blacklist fans: When night, or dark environment scenes are playing, does it appear too dark, almost impossible to perceive? I adjusted all my TV settings to no avail. Any input appreciated!

Dominion Energy Virginia, deliberately ignores the fact that the state’s zero emission law does not work. Utilities are doing this around the country. They will make a fortune building useless wind and solar generation before they finally admit it does not work and have to revive the abolished “power generated when needed.” The Virginia Clean Economy Act, which foolishly mandates zero emissions from electric power generation by 2045. Below is the executive summary of my analysis on Dominion’s VCEA compliance plan, building on the engineering realities I outlined previously. “Reliability means designing for the likely worst case. With conventional generation...

WASHINGTON — A Florida man who bragged he "broke the internet" when he was photographed carrying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's podium during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was sentenced to 75 days in prison on Friday. Adam Johnson, a stay-at-home father of five boys, traveled to D.C. in support of former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, which Trump lost to President Joe Biden. U.S. District Court Judge Reggie B. Walton sentenced Johnson to prison on Friday, saying Johnson made "a mockery" of the events by grabbing Pelosi's lectern and...

I’ve always thought that it would be a humbling experience - and an immense honor - to be elected to serve in Virginia’s General Assembly, the oldest continuous law-making body in the New World. To be part of the House of Delegates is to follow in the footsteps of great men of the Enlightenment: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry. You’d think the history of the place alone would be enough to make members leave behind their bad manners, their hateful diatribes, their name-calling. It’s an institution that demands decorum......Perhaps emboldened by November’s elections that restored a Republican majority in...

Attorney General Jason S. Miyares has fired the university counsels of the University of Virginia and George Mason University: Tim Heaphy at UVa and Brian Walther at GMU. I have no inside knowledge about why Miyares took these actions, but they are, I believe, best understood as the opening salvos in what will be a long-term effort by Miyares and Governor Glenn Youngkin to change the increasingly totalitarian culture of Virginia’s higher-ed system that stifles free speech and free expression. In Virginia the governor appoints members of the boards of visitors, but the attorney general appoints the university counsels. BoV...

For over five decades, most American institutions eschewed tactics and agendas that reeked of McCarthyism. Which is why it is so disheartening and frightening to witness so many current institutions embracing the attributes of McCarthyism — especially the one institution where it should be absolute anathema, but where it is most pronounced — our college campuses.... Unfortunately, this includes my alma mater, the University of Virginia, whose founders, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, were the individuals most responsible for our Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights, the two pillars of American individual rights and freedoms. And just as the...

Students at multiple schools in Loudoun County, Virginia staged a walkout on Tuesday in protest of the district’s cover-up of a sexual assault case. “Loudoun County protects rapists,” some students at Broad Run High chanted in front of the school. Social media posts reportedly framed the protest as a way to “show solidarity to victims of sexual violence and demand safety in our schools.” The protest follows months of controversy after members of the Loudoun County School Board and the superintendent publicly denied that there had been any sexual assault by transgender-identifying students in school bathrooms in the district, even...

The board voted 9-1 for the proposal by Chair Jeffrey McKay to send a letter to Northam, with Springfield District Supervisor Pat Herrity, the board’s only Republican, casting the only vote against the motion. McKay said that waiving the witness signature requirement – as was done during the 2020 election – is necessary due to the continued threat of COVID-19. He said several Fairfax residents had shared concerns with him about obtaining witness signatures – arguing they could be exposed to COVID-19 in the process. “No one should have their ballot rejected because they’re unwilling to risk their health and...

(Paraphrased read more at link) Virginia GOP asked a court to remove McAuliffe from the November Gubernatorial ballot. Lawsuit claims McAuliffe failed to sign his declaration of candidacy, however, his two witnesses did sign the declaration. While a technicality, this document is a requirement in order to have a candidate's name appear on the ballot.

Jessica Mendez, an anti-critical race theory activist in Loudoun County, Virginia, alleged she has been targeted by left-wing activists who smeared her as an “active racist” in a flyer that was sent to her employer last month. In a statement to the Daily Caller, Mendez said “Before I was able to speak to my boss, I was worried that the defamatory mail calling me a racist could negatively influence their opinion of me.” When she explained her involvement in pushing back against the racist curriculum at her child’s school, she said her boss “recognized that I did not do anything...

For what it's worth, Rush's fill in today said Sidney Powell will be on the show today. He didn't mention exactly when except "today".

Within the only impeachment resolution put forth by Speaker Nancy Pelosi to open an “impeachment inquiry” the resolution outlined a process. With only eight legislative days left in 2019; and considering the resolution as adopted; the calendar doesn’t match the democrat talking points. Here is a walk through of the timeline:
