I've been viewing FR for well over twenty years, and the majority of the time I've used Google Chrome as my preferred browser on a Samsung tablet. Recently, FR font displays have appeared extremely small, even with font and zoom settings adjusted to maximum size. It's only that way on FR using Chrome. I can switch to Firefox and everything is fine, but was wondering if anyone else was having any similar problems.
Google Chrome...........I think I see the problem..................
There may be a similar way on a tablet. Dunno. There should be.
Google have been evil for quite a while now.
Try the brave browser instead and see if that helps.
Yes
To change the font size on your Android browser, open a web page and press the menu button.
Go to Settings => Accessibility and choose your font size. You can adjust the font size with a Text Scaling slider from this page.
See if that works.
You’ve been around a while so I will skip the obvious question and save the humor for another time.
Yes, I am and it’s dang annoying! This happened once before and a nice person posted a solution that worked great until a couple of weeks ago. I have searched and can’t find that thread. I hope someone nice posts a solution. Trust me I will copy and save it this time!
I use Chrome and it works fine. Perhaps your settings were somehow changed?
...plus, the text will not wrap. I’ve changed don’t size and it didn’t help this issue.
font
I use Firefox and it has been fine, but now only on donate page, my screen flashes and I can’t make my donation. It has to be on my computer. Not FR.
Right. The font size increase/decrease I mentioned is a browser thing. I use it frequently.
Tried that. Didn’t help. Quite odd, and only a recent problem.
I certainly appreciate everyone’s help, and sorry to hear other people are experiencing this situation. I guess I’ll just stick with Firefox for a while.
Do you know anything about my flashing screen-—only on the donation screen on FR?
Try reinstalling using a new download? But why use chromium-based Chrome? Vivaldi is the best chromium-based browser IMO.
Yes, I had to zoom to 150%.
As a now former FireFox user I can no longer recommend FF. I had used it for years and found it fast and reliable. However sometime early this year the programmers started fooking around with many things and FF is now almost unusable. First they started messing around with YouTube loads adding many seconds to the access time before even trying to load a web page. Next they started sub-dividing the internal processes into individual tasks. It is now commonplace to activate FF, load one page, and find 30-40 FF processes gobbling up your memory and CPU time. It totally suks now.
