Let me inform you that 91 percent of American Citizens want English to become our official language. This is the second time in the last several months this you who are on this list have disgraced yourselves and shown yourselves to be unworthy to be United States Senators and certainly unqualified to serve as President of the United States. This entire immigration bill is a farce and your actions tell the American people that this bill is about despicable, self-serving politics.

The following Senators voted against making English the official language of America: Akaka (D-HI) Bayh (D-IN) Biden (D-DE) (wants to be President) Bingaman (D-NM) Boxer (D-CA) Cantwell (D-WA) Clinton (D-NY) (wants to be President) Dayton (D-MN) Dodd (D- MN) (wants to be President) Domenici (R-NM)(coward, protecting his senate seat) Durbin (D-IL) Feingold (D-WI) (not unusual for him) Feinstein (D-CA) Harkin (D-IA) Inouye (D-Hi) Jeffords (I-VT) (jumping Jim) Kennedy - (D-MA) Kerry (D-MA) (tried to be President) Kohl (D-WI) Lautenberg (D-NJ) Leahy (D-VT)Levin (D-MI) Lieberman (I-CT) (how disappointing) Menendez (D-NJ) Mikulski (D-MD) Murray (D-WA) Obama (D-IL) (wants to be President) Reed (D-RI) Reid (D-NV) (Senate Majority Leader) Salazar (D-CO) Sarbanes (D-MD) Schumer (D-NY)

Bringing liberty and democracy to Islamic lands was a fool's errand from the get go.

What we got was the rise of xenophobic Islamic Jihadism fueled by barbarous tribal and clan warfare.

Let's look at the track record last year and this New Year.

The US encouraged Iranian dissidents and moderates to protest by not voting last June and look what we have- a "terpich fresser" (" carpet eater" in German- a term used to describe madman Hitler) in Tehran lunatic apocalyptic President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad brandishing his nuclear scimitar at Israel and the West and telling Bush and the EU to stuff it. Meanwhile Russia, China and even India are bought off by billion dollar trade and arms deals with Iran ensuring no UN security actions. Nary a glove is laid on Iran's patent "Judenhass" (German for Jewish hatred) on this UN's first Holocaust Memorial Day, Friday.

Also in June in Lebanon after four rounds of voting in the first, Hezbollah and allied parties win 35 seats out of 128 in the Lebanese parliament. Hezbollah literally announces takeover of all of South Lebanon and threatens the new government with secession. Iran pours in over $600 million in "assistance" to Hezbollah annually and Hezbollah earns another $600 million from telephone card monopolies and drug dealing producing a billion dollar plus war chest. Hezbollah has tens of thousands of rockets, artillery, munitions, arms and vehicles in those underground bunkers in the Bekaa Valley. Hezbollah begins actions against Northern Israel. Hezbollah now mans all of the guard posts-some directly overlooking Israel's northern road along the border with Lebanon. Opposition leaders in Lebanon are continually assassinated presumably by Syrian backed operatives.

August, Sharon and Olmert engineer the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza creating a mini-Hamastan and seeds of civil war between Fatah and Hamas. 9,000 Jews are displaced to live in caravan and hotel squalor inside the green line and upwards of 5,000 Arab jobs are destroyed along with $75 to $100 million from vegetable and herb export earnings from high tech greenhouses, since destroyed. Security for Israel is lost despite the move.

Tons of arms, weapons and millions of dollars pour into Gaza from al Qaeda and Iran-backed Islamic Jihad.

Then comes September and aging Egyptian dictator/ruler Mubarak now has 79 members of the Muslim Brotherhood sitting in his phony parliament and waging war against Coptic Christians. Copts account for 12 to 15 million out of Egypt's 80 million in population and they have five seats and all the women have another five. Sharia dhimmitude basically takes over. The Mubarak dynasty will never retain control in this decade.

In mid-November, Dr. Rice and entourage fly in on the weekend of November 12th to jam it to the Israelis to enter an unsigned agreement to open up the Rafah gap border with Egypt. Mayhem occurs as Hamas and al Qaeda pour in operatives, arms and munitions and the rain of Qassem rockets begins to fall on Northern Sinai and Ashkelon in Israel.

December 15th, elections occur in Iraq and the pre-dominate party elected is a Shia Islamists group, now in fractious negotiations with minority Sunnis which may blow up in the faces of the desperate US Ambassador, Afghan born Zalmay Khalilzad, Dr. Rice and President Bush. The Kurds are simply angling for justifiable regional autonomy. Meanwhile neighboring Iran trains and funds insurgents in the country to foment turmoil.

January 25th, Hamas-an offshoot of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood wins an overwhelming majority of the Palestinian Legislative Council and violence erupts with disenfranchised Fatah gunmen in Gaza and the West Bank. Exiled Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal, in Damascus says the armed struggle against Israel will not cease.

All this in a Damascus, where we now learn from Saddam's former Air Force head where they took most of the WMD makings. A Damascus where diminutive Iran President Ahmadinejad and towering Syrian President Assad held a photo op and war council prior to the Palestinian Legislative Council vote. Doubtless they met secretly to cement terror funding with both Hamas and Hezbollah leaders for actions against Israel following the "surprise" Hamas win of last Wednesday.

What's the score so far in this "great game" in baseball argot: Jihad 7. Israel and the West zip!

The green flag of Jihadists Islam advances everywhere in the Middle East. The foolish western chimera (the mythological animal-half lion and half goat) of liberty and democracy for Muslim chimerlands in the Middle East is a failed delusion.

Olmert and the Kadimah leadership, Rice and Bush are like the Vichy French police chief portrayed by the late British film actor Claude Rains who spoke that fabled line in the Bogie movie, "Casablanca": "I'm shocked, shocked."

Looks like the beginning of Armageddon to me.

  • Bin Laden/DNC Deliver Joint 'State of The Jihad' Message

    01/26/2006 2:22:55 PM PST · 1 of 9

Sadly for liberal Democrats in the media and on Capitol Hill, their best talking points were recently plagiarized by none other than Osama Bin Laden, whose anti-Bush commentary was aired on Al Jazeera two weeks ahead of theirs.

Like DNC chairman Howard Dean, bin Laden assures us that the Iraq situation "unwinnable." He concurs with Ted Kennedy that President Bush "lied" us into the war in the first place. He supports Representative John Murtha's contention that America's best strategy is to cut and run from the conflict.

No doubt, he is as outraged as Pat Leahy and Nancy Pelosi that he cannot "reach out and touch" members of his sleeper cells in this country without risking the possibility of the NSA monitoring the calls and thus violating his privacy. Evidently, Osama and the Democrats are, strategically speaking, on the same page.

Now Democrats may be forced to scramble in order to accomplish the real goal of their rebuttal (which is to undermine any encouraging news the president might have to offer America), without sounding like minions of the Islamist madman. On the other hand, they were never distracted by such considerations in the past, so perhaps their agenda will proceed as originally planned.

It would seem to be immediately obvious to those on the left that their constant denigration of the American effort in the war on terror rings eerily similar to the words of the murderous fanatic who started the conflict and remains at its ideological center. Indeed, Bin Laden delivered what could easily pass for a current Democrat policy statement, touching on many of the major points of the liberal agenda.

Moreover, his diatribe might have been written by virtually any one of the big three news anchors, the leadership of the Democrat party, or those talk-radio liberals from Air America (admittedly, the last comparison is a bit unfair to Bin Laden's intellectual honesty).

Yet he seems to have overlooked a few critical items. For example, he did not have any advice to offer on the Alito confirmation, but it is probably a safe guess that on that issue he sides with the left as well. Democrats relentlessly rail against Alito for his possible antipathy towards Roe v. Wade, which they claim he will seek to overturn at his earliest possible opportunity. Certainly, Bin Laden does not want to risk such a sea change in American law. This country of "infidels" is currently aborting one fourth of its next generation. What could make an Islamic terrorist happier than that?

Also conspicuously absent from his commentary was any endorsement of Brokeback Mountain as the "clarion call" for what America ought to be. Yet by so doing he could have greatly furthered his cause, since the expression of such sentiment has virtually become a requirement for credibility among the left, and would have forever endeared him to the counterculture.

Clearly, if he is going to remain as the preeminent spokesman for the Democrat National Committee, Osama Bin Laden will have to "grow" in certain areas of his thinking. But, then again, collaboration with the infidels does have its limits.

On a more serious note, while the inanities of American liberalism are good for an occasional chuckle, the dangers represented by militant Islam are every bit as deadly serious as they have ever been. Also in Bin Laden's speech was the admonition of another impending attack. And whether his threats represent empty bluster born of desperation and futility, or a grave warning, it is inarguable that they indeed reflect the real desires and goals of Islamists.

It was criminally negligent of the government to not take similar warning signs seriously as they mounted during the 1990s. In the wake of 9-11, when all doubts of their actuality have been erased, it is no less than treasonous to trivialize them, for the sake of politics, and thus to distract America from effectively confronting them.

  • The Saddam-Al Qaeda Connection

Granted, the Commission did say, “There is no evidence that Iraq responded to this request.” But my question today is: what about any evidence to suggest Iraq did not respond? There is no such evidence, and to me that is a far more important question, considering the fact that the Commission concluded, “The ensuing years saw additional efforts to establish connections.”

Moreover, there was Ansar al Islam, an Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group with training camps in Northern Iraq prior to 2003. This group was hoping to establish an Islamist state in Iraq. But the –– again, rarely read –– 9/11 Commission Report clearly states, “There are indications that [by 2001] the Iraqi regime tolerated and may even have helped Ansar al Islam against the common Kurdish enemy.”

But don’t take my word for it, or the Commission’s. In her book, Masters of Chaos, author and U.S. News & World Report senior writer Linda Robinson describes an attack on Sargat –– an enormously significant international terrorist training camp in northeastern Iraq, near the Iranian border. The camp was being run by Ansar al Islam, and based on Robinson’s conversations with the U.S. Army special operators who led the attack, it is indeed "more than plausible" that Al Qaeda members trained there.

“[A Special Forces sergeant] believed, given the heavy fortifications, ample weaponry, and quality of the fighters, that his team had just invaded the world’s largest existing terrorist training camp since the fall of the Taliban in Afghanistan,” writes Robinson. “This was no way-station, in his view. It was remote yet in the heart of the region, so radicals could wreak havoc all over the Middle East.”

According to Robinson, the American Green Berets discovered among the dead in Sargat: foreign ID cards, airline-ticket receipts, visas, and passports from Yemen, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Tunisia, Morocco, and Iran. Sargat wasn’t the only terrorist camp discovered by U.S. forces.

As Hayes reported, “Secret training took place primarily at three camps —— in Samarra, Ramadi, and Salman Pak —— and was directed by elite Iraqi military units.”

At Salman Pak, a facility south of Baghdad, “videos and other materials turned up after the invasion that showed terrorist training footage, where the targets were clearly Americans, along with other Jihadist propaganda,” Divine, who also operates NavySEALs.com, told me last week, “If this were an Iraqi military training site, or even a secret police site, it would not have had Jihadist focus, nor been visited by Arab members of Al Qaeda, as had been reported by several intelligence agencies.”

About the time Divine and I were having our initial conversation about the Saddam-Al Qaeda connection, Dr. Walid Phares –– a senior fellow with the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies and author of Future Jihad –– was poring over captured Iraqi intelligence documents (written in Arabic).

Last week, Phares told me he concluded from the documents, “There obviously were connections and talks, not only between Baghdad and the Jihadists of Osama Bin Laden, but between other Arab regimes such as Sudan, Syria and officials in Saudi Arabia and the radical Islamists who would later form Al Qaeda. In this regional maze, everybody talks to everybody and explores possibilities, plans.”

This is key to understanding the nature of terrorist organizations in the Middle East: Alliances are often ad hoc, opposing groups often train together, and the terrorists themselves switch loyalties depending upon whose leading what organization and what propaganda is being fomented by whom.

To think otherwise would be dangerous for America and the world. And those on both sides of the U.S. political divide recognize Phares’ grasp of the complexities of global terrorism, particularly as they relate to the complex relationships that have existed in the Middle East for thousands of years. Phares, who regularly conducts Congressional and State Department briefings, added, “The Saddam- Al Qaeda cooperation was centered around weakening the U.N.-sponsored, U.S.-British-backed sanctions against Iraq. Al Qaeda would strike U.S. interests, prompting a U.S. withdrawal from the region. Iraq would in-turn provide some facilities and other services to Al Qaeda’s operatives and local allies without necessarily becoming their main supplier or strategic partner.”

Consequently, international terrorists like Jordanian-born Abu Musab al Zarqawi were able to access many locations in Iraq prior to 2003. If nothing else, Zarqawi’s direct links to both Al Qaeda and Ansar al Islam, directly linked post-invasion Iraq and Al Qaeda. There is simply no way around that.

But there is much more to consider than Zarqawi, his crowd, and their freedom-of-movement. Intelligence gathered since the U.S. invasion indicates that as early as the late 1990's, Iraq’s Unit 999 (a special branch of the old regime’s army) was directly involved in the training of foreign terrorists inside Iraq. Intelligence about U.S. and other Western forces was shared between operatives of the Iraqi intelligence services and Al Qaeda. And foreign terrorists operating in the region (outside of Iraq) who needed medical attention or other support received it once inside Iraqi borders.

Additionally, previously positioned operators –– the “connections” –– would have been necessary to coordinate the reception of Al Qaeda operatives crossing into post-invasion Iraq. Any student of guerrilla operations knows the former must assist the latter to establish deep bases, recruit new members, and develop some semblance of trust in an untrusting tribal society.

So let’s forget for the moment any weapons of mass destruction (and the verdict is still out over whether or not WMDs were spirited across the borders). Forget the fact that Saddam was providing monetary support to the Palestinian families of suicide bombers. Forget the fact that he had violated umpteen U.N. resolutions since the end of Gulf War I. Forget the fact that his air-defense forces were regularly shooting at American and British pilots. Forget that he was a brutal dictatorial thug whose henchmen systematically raped, tortured, and murdered anyone who so much as hinted at any domestic political opposition. Forget all of the collaterally related geo-strategic reasons for gaining a foothold in the middle of the Islamist-fascist world during a global war against Middle-Eastern- based terrorism.

Instead, let’s consider the question that continues coming back to me:

Why is the White House not jumping all over the fact that terrorists were indeed training in pre- invasion Iraq as defensible proof of why we had no choice but to invade that country? The answer is simple and unfortunate: Many in the mainstream media have been so successful at debunking any evidence, proof, or substantive facts as they relate to the Saddam-Al Qaeda connection, that any new information supporting any facts those of us in-the-know already know will simply be rejected. The new information will be seen as desperate backtracking on old ground. The White House, which is committed to winning the war, will be seen as being in a defensive mode regarding issues that now have no strategic or tactical relevance in the future prosecution of the war. And the general public, which has been fed a steady diet of Iraq-is-the-wrong-theater since 2003, no longer knows what to believe. Opponents of the war say the only Al Qaeda elements in Iraq prior to the U.S. invasion were those in Kurdish areas not controlled by Saddam. This simply is not so, but for the sake of argument, let’s say it is. And if so, would not the U.S. –– as a critical front in the global war on terror –– have to invade those areas to shut down the Al Qaeda cells? Of course. And that in itself would have been a far more dangerous “limited war” with Iraq involving a direct ground confrontation with Saddam’s army anyway. “Those who have decided that the Iraq-Al Qaeda connection claims (along with WMD) were ginned up by Bush to bolster the rationale for going into Iraq, are so firmly invested in those beliefs that they wouldn't believe any corroborating evidence anyhow,” says Divine. True, but the facts are still with us, and the evidence for those facts –– now supported by a growing body of post-invasion intelligence –– is getting stronger. And to be fair to Hayes, the confirmation by 11 government officials of some two-million “exploitable items,” including notes, documents, tapes, CDs, floppies, and hard drives connecting the dots, is indeed a new revelation reinforcing what we already knew. “There were terrorists training in Iraq prior to our invasion of that country,” said retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. John Bruce Blount, former chief of staff of Allied Forces Southern Europe, in a phone conversation on Friday. “No question about it. There also were many things Saddam was doing –– money, passports, visas, you name it –– to further the terrorists ability to operate in other places throughout the world.” Even more disturbing is what U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson (R -S.C.) said to me back in September 2004: “If this is what we know, imagine what we don’t know.”

This is a great article about the purpose of "The War On Terror", and why we need to make it a declared war, or at least name the name of the enemy. Their name is not Terrorists, their name is Islamofacist Jihadists. And the are the inheritors of the Nazi agenda. This is the first 300 words, I can't post any more they won't let me.

Louisiana: Local and state officials fail to demonstrate leadership, require federal government to manage disaster areas.

    19. Texas: Fuel deliveries can't keep up with demand, some run out of gas on highway, need help from fuel tankers before storm arrives.

Louisiana: Motorists wait till storm hits and electrical power fails. Cars run out of gas at gas stations that can‘t pump gas. Gas in underground tanks mixes with flood waters.

    20. Texas: Mayors move citizens out of danger.

Louisiana: Mayor moves himself and family to Dallas.

    21. Texas: Mayors continue public service announcements and updates on television with Governor's backing and support.

Louisiana: Mayor cusses, governor cries, senator threatens president with violence on television, none of them have a clue what went wrong or who‘s responsible.

    22. Louisiana: Democratic Senator says FEMA was slow in responding to 911 calls from Louisiana citizens.

Texas: Republican Senator says "when you call 911, the phone doesn't ring in Washington, it rings here at the local responders".

What if state and local elected officials were forced to depend on themselves and their own resources instead of calling for help from the federal government? Texas cities would be back up and running in a few days. Louisiana cities would still be under water next month. Republicans call for action, Democrats call for help. What party will you be voting for in the next election?
