Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled or hanged.--Abraham Lincoln
Hear, hear!
There's a surprise. Not.
I am reminded of a statement made by Jesus Christ (Mark 3:25):
“A house divided against itself cannot stand.” That certainly goes for language as well.
English is the worldwide language of business and science(except medical..latin has fewer words but more precision). Spanish will never be the worldwide language of business and science because: 1. the vocabulary is too small. English borrows from all languages to give more nuance to the message(nuance is a french word). 2. Spanish averages about 40% more syllables to express the same message as English. Spanish is too slow for business and too limited in expression for science. Here’s an example we’ve all seen. The yellow cones in the airport say “cuidado, piso mohado” (9 syllables)in English, “caution, wet floor(4 syllables). Nuff said.
English is Americas official language. Someone please tell the socialist liberal demoncrates who pander to the ethnic villages that populate our cities are rural towns.
Don’t let Juan McCain hear you talking.

Mitt Romney supported English as the official language in Massachusetts. He acted to end bi-lingual education there.
